Novak on Vale radar?

Would be a great signing. Has great experience at this level, scores a decent amount of goals and gets assists. Sounds like an Adams players as well. Would be surprised if we get him when Birmingham are after him although possibly we could tempt him with first team football?

Sounds like the type of player Wildes said we would be looking at - Championship experience, decent league 1 record, good age too.

 

Hopefully we'll shift some more ST's today and we can continue to look at these type of players.

Would be a very good signing, good League 1 player, not quite up to it in the championship. Works his ******** off every game, always 110%, but not a natural goal scorer, sometimes he couldn’t hit a barn door from 5 yards! will chip in with 10-12 goals a season but a fair amount of assists, no great pace and not too good in the air but makes up for that with his will to chase down etc

 

Similarly, Jones (who I really hope stays with us) was seen as not quite up to Championship level. So if Novak can bring the same sort of quality that Jones brought, he'd be a good signing, but surely Birmingham have to be favourites as they are in a higher division and his former manager is there.

Exactly the type of player I'd like us to be looking at.

 

Young enough to still be hungry whilst having some valuable experience at higher levels. He moved from non-league at quite a young age, perhaps he's become a bit bored at Huddersfield and would relish a new challenge. Could be no substance to the rumour but there seems a bit too much smoke for their to be no fire.

Whether we get him or not the fact that we're after good players who've played with success at a higher level is indicative of MA's thinking.
