A reply from Smurf ref bad news

Recommended Posts

This is very interesting - if you want Sting's input then here it is. It's clear to Sting that Wildes is gone, it will come out that Smurf is looking to get his money back and that Sean Hawkins is interested in taking over. Sean Hawkins definitely has the money, Sting knows him better than anyone, he was interested when we were in administration but he had a massive hangover and missed the deadline to get his bid in. If he takes over we'll be in good hands...booze will be cheaper for a start, trust Sting on this one.

Honestly don't know Sean for toffee, IF and it's a big IF there s any truth in that. Anybody know if he actually won the Lottery, or was that just bull and what Buisiness sense does he have?

Hawkins is THE man. Hopefully he'll open one of his hairdressers in the new Lorne Street.

I honestly do not know who or what to believe.

Ive had texts, FB messages and calls all saying Wildes has gone and it will be announced tomorrow.

I know for a fact that the powers that be read this messageboard and so i urge some sort of official statement today.

What i will say is that if he has gone or indeed if he hasnt, i wont lose any sleep over it and nor should others. There is absolutely nothing we can do about it.

What will be will be.

Can one finance it without the other is my only concern.

Sorry, I disagree with that entirely. I don't think the club should rush to release something just because the rumour mill is in full effect. If there is a statement then I would rather it is considered and checked and certainly not rushed out just to satisfy the whims of the fans. If it is being written and set to be published on Saturday (and what would I know :whistling:) then that's hardly that long to wait!
