Why Andrew

Can begin to understand Andew's inclusion when playing away and Vincent isn't available but at home and Vincent is available it doesn't appear to make sense. However, its only MA and the coaching staff who are with the players all the time and know the opposition so there must have been some plan or reason.

Andrew played well at Dagenham and clearly deserved a place, though he isn't a natural left winger.

He tries hard but isn't the solution to our attacking problems.

I agree - there were a number of players much worse than him today.

(Vincent was abysmal when he came on - awful. He got the ball about 5 times and gave it away about 5 times! He clearly wasn't match fit at all and was a wasted substitute)

We looked like a poor defensive side once Big Clayton came on I'm afraid.

Dont want to single him out but He was ****ing awful. Must have give 4 silly free kicks away in twenty minutes.

Duffy & Chilvers were far worse than CM. All their attacks came down the Duffy-Chilvers side in the 1st half. However as a team we defended poorly.

He won more balls than Pope today and prior to him being brought off was the only Vale player causing Fleetwoods defence any problems with his movement and effort. .

As a team we caused Fleetwood's defence very few problems after the first 15 minutes but to say Andrew won more than Pope and caused more problems is ridiculous.

There were far worse players on the pitch for Vale today.

Agreed; MacDonald, Myrie-Williams and Duffy

The reason why we had problems down the right side of our defence was because M-W wasn't tracking his man and was ball watching.

McDonald and Chilvers are both too slow.

We need a centre back with a bit of pace.

We concede far too many goals and the centre backs were dragged all over the place today, showing up their lack of pace.

Maybe we can get away with ONE slow defender but not two.

How about Vincent has just recovered from a stomach virus! We all go back into work after illness and feel a little ropey, its no different with professional footballers.

Andrew played 90 minutes in a team that won a few days ago at Dagenham so quite rightly deserved to keep the shirt, he along with the other 10 players did not perform today and it is very likely he will have to settle for a place on the bench on saturday against Plymouth but deserved to be in the starting 11 today

I don't think Andrew did much wrong today as the whole team was awful, but he offers no threat, for a big lad he bang average in the air, isn't great on the floor either and is just a worker. We need more from a player in that position than work rate alone. I can't see why we don't play shuker out wide, after all he is a winger and although not a pacey as he used to be he tricky to play against
