Foyle was a novice when he managed with us, but still had an eye for a couple of players like Leon, Sodje, think he signed Rico.

Was the Shane Tudor's, Rocastles in there though but he is nearly 20 years further into his career now so a different kettle of fish.

 

Sorry but whenever someone says or writes ‘He knows the club’ I just can’t not forget this.

If, at the age of 63, you're a scout at Carlisle, I don't think you're that highly regarded, no.

Fair enough though as that's your opinion.. I know he is highly regarded in football with great football knowledge but lets see what happens first as we dont even know he will be coming,all i am saying is i will be happy if he comes into the club and i certainly wont be knocking it(not saying you are by the way)

What is Mark Hughes doing there at 62? Martin Foyle Head of Recruitment, presumably the money is good?

Steve McLaren is 65 and working at Rotherham. He wasn't a great England manager but he was highly regarded enough to get the job

He's at his level, as are Hughes and Foyle.
