Not always pretty, but that’s a good start.

Well done all those at Vale for a win.  Vale still unbeaten this month/year.  🤣

 

Too much on the back foot second half but I don’t think we were too troubled. 1-0 will do and we are in the hat for next round. 🙂 

Load of rubbish bar a really good goal.

It's very far fetched but the right draw now could unlock the funds to bring in that luxury player who could make enough of a difference and keep us up. Unexpected, unbudgeted couple of hundred grand from a top 6 side away.

Phew. Poor as the game went on but much more life in us going forwards in the first half. Nice to see us attack with pace but clearly that won’t be good enough moving forwards. 
job done though, clean sheet, another win for momentum which in my view is huge. Hopefully a big tie and some signings in asap

Shout out to Faal, gets alot of stick (from myself aswell) but he definitely did his bit when he came on. Worked hard and helped out defensively.

I’m sure Brady will be happy with the result but more importantly have more questions than answers with some of those players.

A win is a win is a win but that performance, especially the 2nd half stunk out Burslem.

These players, these supposed league one players, need to get their act together and quick. 
That was a bang average Fleetwood side in a league below and they could have easily taken it to penalties if they had put the header away and the late chance.

Much to work on for Brady and I’d like to see some ruthlessness in shipping out a lot of dead wood that we have.

There is much to improve but I’m encouraged with a good amount tonight. Jon Brady it feels like he knows what he wants and how to go about it. Loved the way we were constantly trying the early ball to try and catch Fleetwood unaware even when it didn’t quite come off.

Faal got the closest to a heroes welcome from the Hamil as would have expected when he came on and I think he did pretty well tonight dare I say. 

Let’s hope for something fun next round.
