Already miles better just by virtue of the fact that I can see how we are trying to score goals, there is actually a coherent plan.

 

I think its unwarranted criticism regarding shipleys goal celebration Ive lost count of the number of times Ive read comments on here saying he is useless if its ok for people to say he is useless then I say its fine for him to stick two metaphorical fingers up at them when he scores. We want passionate players not robots. Clearly he isn't useless but like nearly all of our forward thinking, technical players DM didn't play to his strengths and quickly dropped him from the squad.

Maybe JB will have a word about his celebration it is a bit nobbish unless he’s auditioning for front of a Walkers crisps packet

I was thinking the same. Shipley being left footed does help when it's a central midfield pairing and he does seem to link up well with Byers. Considering the flak the pair get I think they've done well tonight.

Shipley tries to play a telling ball rather than the side/back pass, hence the stick when it doesn't work.

Just looks more intent and purpose about us.

Have to take into account these are mid table league 2 side but putting that aside we look busy and want to take the game to them.

This is now a fighting team by the looks of it.

The manager is getting at the players as well.  What is that all about - oh that is a manager wanting to get his players playing.  Not used to that sort of behaviour from a Vale manager

A little no mark ? The guy is a professional footballer and a human being. I'm sure he's got many fans supporting him
