Match Thread: Port Vale v Fleetwood (FAC)

That’s one of the best saves I’ve seen live in a long time. Good break again. Hall is just electric.

Great save. We haven’t been great but are getting in behind well with hall and Waine.

Execution not quite been there but you can see a clear plan of attack which is something we haven’t done this season. Something to work with here.

Ched Evans coming on. Asif he's still going,  used to be a nightmare playing against us

Hope the Fleetwood player is alright.

Definitely, just that final ball but we’re carving them open at will

As you say hope the injury is not serious as it sounds like a bad one.  Splinted and stretcher now.

Blimey Disney FC 2-0 against Forest

There's two changes ( one being the keeper) to when we beat Blackpool. The only difference is the formation. How is that strange?

Wain and Hall as wingers. Neither of them are natural wingers and won’t give the service to the front two.

Also I’m not a massive fan of Shipley as he is a poor footballer.

It is just a shame that it appears Curtis is off when we will likely now play a system that best suits him.

I think the subs bench highlights that we definitely need to strengthen in certain areas, and I’m sure of those on loan will return to parent clubs. It’s nice to see Paton back on the bench though.

Yeah just because of how most games go these days I thought it was a tactical one at first but clearly not. Hopefully he’s ok.

Didn't seem a bad tackle on replay unless his leg twisted funny as he went down

They’ve provided service so far

Both Hall and Waine giving us a dangerous outlet in this setup. Byers slowing things down too much in the middle for me so far. Great save by their GK to deny Cole. Improvement for me so far

I think waine looks far better out wide than upfront to be honest. Hall has that pace which we absolutely need
