I think Waine is poor, but even if you rate him, he’s a forward. He did a job as a wide of a front 3 but it’s very different playing wide midfield.

On a separate note nice to see Ruari back into the squad.

Gauci playing definitely would indicate Villa are not inclined for a recall anytime soon either so if that’s the case I’m proceeding with him in goal now. Hopefully that little break has allowed him to reset.

Brady sees something in Waine i think because hasn't it been said that he has tried to sign him in the past

We know he has bags of pace which might just be a massive asset if he is on the wing

He needs to start actually making some saves. He’s lucky Amos was crap when he came in. Gauci is good at commanding his area but he’s turned into Stone and Stevens in terms of every shot we were facing was going in.

Waine on the wing, no surprise. I think Curtis goes and there isn't likely to be a LW replacement for him given our options there already.
