A big game for a footballer for sure, im sure when Vale reached semis v West Brom the place was rammed before born so no idea .

Did there team of players go into it that cup run with it doesnt matter ,it does there efforts remembered forever...

 v Man City away lots of away fans having a great time, we lost so what ,still drawing Man City and there billionaire players well it was fantastic popes header and a great night .

v Everton we beat them my favourite game ever ,thats the Vale i want see again in my lifetime , im sure we got too 5th round and lost too Leeds in replay should have won at Elland Road .

Anyway ill be there ,not because im a sadist in cold weather ,because you never know what could happen if get through, it could buy a winger or 2 ,which could really get the Vale going where they could never dream of going ,look at Bournemouth how did they end up as they are ,years ago bought 200 too Vale had no money ,think they were in adminstration ,cannot remember score ,Loft (Doug not Ryan )played , look at them now not just in premier league but playing enterprising football and deserve be there with not massive home crowds are they ,big crowd clubs are over rated anyway ,over the years 4000 at Vale sounds like 16k if playing well .

So why not Vale 

Tonight could be the beginning of that

I usually would be have been hit with this bug, been ill since NY. (Typically missed the Blackpool route after suffering every other home game!)

Here is a picture that was featured on the front page of the Evening Sentinel on Saturday the 20th of March 1954 where 40,000 fans queued at Vale Park in the hopes of securing a ticket for the semi-final against West Brom. The ticket offices opened at 1pm and by 2:30pm ticket allocations were exhausted and as a result many fans had to be turned away. The picture is from the book Port Vale FC The Valiants in the 50s and 60s.

If that were to happen this season, if ticket sales went on sale at 1.00pm, with the ticket office as it is now, by 2.30pm they would have sold about 15 tickets 😉

Yer I ve got it as well this bloody cough is almost impossible to shift about 5 weeks with it now.

I have a Season Audio Pass for 2025/26 season.  This doesn't cover FA Cup matches.  I purchased a Match Audio Pass for £3 to listen to the Bristol Rovers match.  No such option seems to be available for tonight's match.  Is this because it is being streamed live on Discovery +?  It only leaves one option - a £30.99 monthly subscription to Discovery +.  I don't have a dodgy stick or a VPN.

I'm the same and it looks like you need to pay for TNT which is £30 odd quid.

One of the better players that we do not have to worry about now 

He’s a good player so that’s a bonus. They have ched Evans up front. 37 years old but will still be an handful no doubt and a great hold up player. It’s all about us tonight. New manager, new start for everyone and hopefully a noisy crowd and if we turn up then we have a great chance of making round 4.
