Nervy performance second half but pleasing overall with that.

Whilst it's the players on the pitch that matter i couldn't help but notice that there's more life in my little toe than Wild the Fleetwood manager.

Arms folded, hands in coat pockets, devoid of much emotion just looked like he didn't want to be there.

Is he related to Moore

A little no mark ? The guy is a professional footballer and a human being. I'm sure he's got many fans supporting him

Yes. A little no mark. Compared to those hard earning working class paying Vale fans who pay his over inflated wages.

Fair play to every Vale fan who have braved the weather tonight. They don’t need a jumped up overpaid <ovf censored> sticking his fingers in his ears to them.

<ovf censored> disgrace and not what this club is all about.

Doncaster away now postponed on 4th round day.

Yes mate. The reason I mentioned it was as he was touted on here.

His body language was bloody awful.

Made Moore look hyperactive

It’s rare to find a wingback who can pick a cross at this level. Whether to float it in , drilled to back post etc. He’s got that ability, and right out of his feet without any backlift as well.

I think that will be useful going forward especially if JB keeps a settled side so cole and stockley can start anticipating that ball coming in when johnson gets it out of his feet.

Most comfortable uncomfortable 1 - 0 win I can remember! Thought we looked distinctly average at times and even nervy at the back first half, creating our own problems.

Oh well onto R4, bank the money and push on from here.

120k in the bank. 4th round hopefully we can pull one of the big boys out the hat

I want Man U away.  Great earner and a chance of winning 😉

They'll be knocked out by Brighton!

Borehamwood/Burton or Salford/Swindon at home please.

Maybe im the only one who'd rather focus on avoiding relegation than thinking about who's next in the cup...

Phew. Poor as the game went on but much more life in us going forwards in the first half. Nice to see us attack with pace but clearly that won’t be good enough moving forwards.
job done though, clean sheet, another win for momentum which in my view is huge. Hopefully a big tie and some signings in asap

Wouldn't be Vale if they didn't make us sweat  😁

To be fair I think brady had to bring faal and brown on so he can have a look at them but for me when we took hall and waine off we lost our outlet and started to drop back maybe because fleetwood pushed up a bit because they didn't have their pace to worry about but JB needs to see that too.

We got away with it but we also created more chances and stuck one of them away so that'll do for me in his first game in charge.
