So much for a settled 11 for plan A then a plan b when plan A goes <ovf censored> up.

we have never had a settled 11 plan a

today going for a draw with not the strongest 11

prove me wrong Darren bit I doubt it

Last week I joked that Paton would get dropped for the next match. Did not expect that to come true. Still if we choke the midfield off, then we can better control the match. Surely Croasdale a better option then Headley. But then he has already two defensive midfielders in there in Walters and Byers and Headley is maybe better at going forwards. Probably turn out to be one of Moore's tactical genius days

Apologies forgot about Hall not starting. How does Headley get in before him. I am not trying to criticise Headley here. I do not see how he gets in ahead of certain other players, when he is played out of position

It could be a 4-4-1-1 with Garrity playing as an attacking midfielder.

You beat me to it

This ultra defensive formation will either hold out for a horrible 0-0 or concede very early and lose about 3 or 4.

I get we are away at Bolton but there is nothing positive about this at all.

To be honest I'm not sure that he is being played out of position as, I'm not sure which position he will be playing, and, there are varying opinions on what his best position is.  Other than that I have a pretty firm grasp of the situation.

Bolton an attacking team. Two good wingers. We set out to defend first.

Keep it to 3 0 at half time and then have a go   ha ha

I honestly have no idea what formation we are playing as to me it comes across as if Devante is playing up front on his own.

This is Dazza’s selection strategy to confuse the opposition as to how we’re setting up. The bloke doesn’t know his best eleven and we continue to have round pegs in square holes with predictable results. Last season he fell upon our best eleven almost by accident, stuck with it and we went up. This season it’s anybody’s guess what will happen.

I like Dazza and wish him well but he needs to start winning or we’re in dire straits.

Today, there’s no little or no creativity and no attacking intent, which is asking for trouble but who knows what will happen. Fingers crossed.

No idea… looks like we are over loading the left probably to counter their winger but could work as it did at Birmingham.

People saying 541 or 4411, who is playing right side in that scenario?

It is 11 v 11, people make too much of formations. In Darren we trust...

If be <ovf censored> fuming if I were Hall or Paton. Don’t like the 11 at all. I know we can’t be too negative but I’m not happy Garrity is back over Hall and that Paton isn’t starting AGAIN. 3-0 Bolton

Spot on. Dazza’s disregard for Paton - however well he plays - and refusal to pick his best players will come back to haunt him. What is the point of paying out significant sums for Payton and Hall and not playing them. And, to make it worse, picking inferior players ahead of them?

Tbh I don't consider Headley as a LWB as for me I think he's miles better as a winger.

I’d rather us just play a genuine winger there like Curtis. Another player being ruined. Gets a game at LWB but can’t get a go in his natural position. Headley better offensively than defensively I agree, not a winger though

Im a happy clapper and a dm fan, but im looking at this team and thinking WTF. How RP and GH can be sitting on their @rses on the bench is bewildering, and like most others I cant work the formation out for love or spunkies

So obviously we are going for the classic Darren Moore bore draw 😱
