Absolutely not, not far from Burton, Walton on Trent.

We get over run anyway. Possession is not important. We won't pick up any less second balls than we do with 3, and when we do they'll be more options in wider positions.

Disagree: Having  2 players against 3 it’s inevitable we ll pick up even less 2 nd balls so with less possession the options out wide will be irrelevant and they will be in an even worse position to defend as they ll be wrong side the ball. We ll be overrun completely.

Anyway let’s hope for a backs to the wall performance and that we come away with something to set us up for 2 home games.

Censoring.

We're the 8th best away side in the division.

It's basically the top six, Luton, and then us.

I continue to offer my bet that we finish 16th or above, by the way.

Today is a chance show there 2 good teams in the area .

Id expect a very driven performance .

Result well make it a good one we went Barnsley 8 away goal atrempts on target to there 0

Burton 3 Bolton 0

Northampton 2 Bolton 0

Whats there to be scared of

Absolutely nothing they only narrowly beat Cardiff, needed 2 injury time goals v Huddersfield , Vale should have hammered Cardiff

Go have a go and see what occurs

I'll be delighted if we do a "Barnsley" or "Birmingham" performance and result today.

Are you having a flutter on a Vale away win today Osh? Have you got a score prediction?

I'm predicting a 2 0 win to Bolton. I'm hoping for a 2 0 away win for SVA.

I hate it when Vale lose, regardless of opposition or competition. I love it when we win!

UTV!

Oddschecker has us with best odds of 15/4 for the win and 14/5 for the draw.

Quite tempted to have an "each way" on those two, so still be in profit if either come in.

This is exactly the sort of day when we might pull off a Valesque result against all the odds.

The bookies seem no longer to be offering the market for English League One - Top Half Finish Betting Odds, so I can't top up my bets.

The nearest I can find is Top 6 Odds -

Interestingly, the bookies there agree with your assessment of Vale finishing 16th.

Don’t Fancy us to get anything out of this unfortunately. 2-0 Bolton 😭

Exactly my feelings I'm afraid

And mine.

What is everybody thinking for today's game, a surprise result or the usual Bolton win?

I know we are <ovf censored> at home but I’m surprised by the doom and gloom.

We are a decent away team and I would always fancy us for a point on the road against anyone in this league.

Also no surprise with Ojo. I’ve said it all summer and during the season he’s a bad egg. It’s always someone else’s fault with him.

Keep him away from the team.
