I have been more pro-Moore than most, but Walters has to start. It's bordering on negligence for him to play 16% of the minutes of an overall poor start.

Agree, I've not been in the "Moore out camp" yet, but not playing Walters is a dire decision 

Me too! Agreed! Unfortunately don’t think he will!

It's an odd one really. Walters is one of our best midfield players so why he leaves him out is a mystery.

With Ojo there clearly seems to be some bad blood after the relegation season and farming him out on loan last year, but Walters transformed our season in midfield.

The only thing I can think of, and it'd a flimsy excuse, is that he wanted more experience in midfield and that's why Rhys hasn't started.

It would almost be more understandable if he didn't play Walters at all - but he started him and he was probably our best player against Birmingham and Arsenal! It's not a fitness issue or an attitude issue, as you wouldn't start him in those games.

He talks about playing him against Maldon because we'd have more of the ball, yet played him from the start against two better sides where we had about 20% possession.

I just don't get it. Walters is really good. Play him.

I'm defo going to the game BUT i'm sitting with a colleague in the family stand - he lives in Bolton.

Picking my daughter up after the game and taking her back to Somerset for the week before driving her back up to Chorley.  I'm then coming to Vale Park for the Wycombe game following week.

I have a feeling in my water that we'll get a result here.  Vale win by a late goal.  Very DM!!

We've given teams too much of an easy ride in the last 2 games. You give the opposition nothing to think about up top and you're opening yourself up to problems. We need to get back to using width to make players think twice about committing forwards. I'd go back to 5 2 3 with Curtis/Hall/Headley in wider positions joining in with Cole. That's the formula against the better teams away from home. We did it at Birmingham well so we shouldn't be concerned anymore with the first 35 minutes of failure at Rotherham.

Hi guys looking forward to welcoming you on Saturday in what should be a thrilling game. Just a bit of a heads up on Wanderers. We’ve played well in every game so far except Burton recently but have just missed chance after chance and ended up drawing games we should have won comfortably. At the same time we’ve been prone to giving silly goals away at the back but thankfully not in recent games and we look to have tightened up. You’re already aware of Cozier Duberry and the amazing form he’s in at the moment but don’t ignore Cissoko on the other wing who is now also coming into form. I understand you are struggling for full backs so probably not the best time to be playing two in form wingers but clubs have limited them by doubling up which I’d imagine DM will do. It probably reduces your attacking options a little but we are somewhat prone to breakaways so if you have someone pacy up front you can catch us out. Similarly we’re not big in defence and can be subject to high balls into the box so set pieces could be profitable for you. I’m not taking this game in any way a given despite your league position which like DM is I think not reflective of you at the moment and I’d expect you to move up the table before too long though not on Saturday I hope. With no game over the international break it’s important we win this one so we will be going for it but as usual let’s just hope it’s a good game and it doesn’t get spoiled by bad refs as so many do. Safe journey to all those making the journey.

Exactly why 5 2 3 (or 5 4 1 when defending with wide outlets on the wing) is the way to go. We can't have Garrity and Croasdale in the same midfield plodding around on current form in my opinion. Garrity is 5th choice behind Ojo, Walters, Byers and Croasdale in my humble opinion.

As Norwich be getting rid of Manning  and he played for them, and he as a release clause in his contract like Tolaj, lets see if money talks or ambition you'd say Norwich bigger club than Stoke so lets see what happens if anything .

Lots of years of poor finishing league table performance, there due a good  one so fair play too them .

I for one aint looking at league table after 14 games ,theres 32 left Vale are more than capable of winning at least half of them if get ruthless.

Robins will definitely be getting paid more at Stoke than anything Norwich could offer him.

plus Robins family home is literally 40 minutes from Stoke.

Unfortunately, Robins is with the biggest club that he could manage

Tbh i couldnt care less 

We will see 

One things for sure they having the run of the  ball ,and got players who could have being relegated last season, playing better than they have ever played .

Looking in good times for them im only interested in good  times for Valiants ,needs to start in league ASAP

I think I'm right in saying that Bolton have had the most shots in the league whilst we've had the second most shots in the league.
