I know this suggestion will totally divide opinion, but what about Ryan Colclough? He is a burslem lad who has no club? Means no fee, maybe on a pay as you play deal or with performance based incentives?

He was let go by chesterfield because he has had off the field problems but on his day he is a top end league 2/bottom end league 1 left winger who is direct and can chip in with a goal, with a Brady arm round him he may excel?

Maybe I have lost the plot I don’t know, but I’m clutching at straws to see some new faces arrive!!

Think he's due in court very soon. 2 cans short of a 4 pack.

According to Wikipedia he's on trial in April for GBH......Just what we need in midfield a bit of steel 😀

Ok maybe not then! However if it’s the end of April he’d only miss 1 or 2 games, if it’s pay as you play wouldn’t cost the club anything.

I can think of plenty of examples where clubs have still taken a punt on players which have had police trouble and still done well. Lee Hughes, Atkins, Ched Evans, Greenwood, Barton the list goes on

Just being let go by Fylde

Yes I have seen that I’d argue he was only at that level though because of his off field trouble, he was doing well under cook at chesterfield.

I’m sure we can get someone of better quality but it’s whether the club are willing to commit to that spend in Jan.

I for one knew Marosi was a terrible signing. Agree with the rest though, although I did think Shipley was a decent signing from what I saw of him previously. My view on that has changed though

I can see why Marosi was signed, ask any Shrewsbury fan he was excellent for them in League One it was only after he left(and a few other players) they went downhill last season. Unfortunately the spell at Plymouth and/or injury at Cambridge have done something to him. Either buggered something physically that he hasn't totally recovered from or his confidence is shot to <ovf censored>(possibly a bit of both).

I'd agree though evidently not a lot of research went into that side of his signing and more off previous performance over a season ago.

I dont think we do that anymore do we? when was the last experienced loan we had who was very good? we usually just sign Academy/u21 now

Tony Dinning? Excellent on loan then went from hero to zero the following season once we signed him permanently!

Because Man Utd are not going to  cancel the loan for a player to be loaned back out to shiit team in oblivion at the bottom of League One

It’s not really a matter of who he plays for it’s the fact he playing at an higher level and anyone can look good in a good team. Measure him by the opposition players.

You are so wrong on this. They are not going to measure him by losing every week

Nobody mentioned Celtics interest in Tolaj -£5m?

He will 100% go in the summer for very very good money but where he goes is anyones guess

It can only be a good thing for us if we get 10-15% sell on over the original 1.2m

I dont think he'll stay at Plymouth either; he's hungry for money and further success.

I think he'll at least go to the Championship (not sure he's good enough for the Prem) and I think he'll want to stay down in the South - so you might see him at Southampton, Portsmouth, Charlton or QPR.  I think, if he keeps on scoring, then you could see £10m plus

Southampton would be my bet for Championship but I was told by my Plymouth contact he has a minimum fee release clause already in the region of a few mil. I can't imagine given he's had min fee clauses all through since leaving Brighton he wouldn't have one now.

Already played for 2 clubs this season so no point in going in Jan
