    He left a PL academy to work his way up the leagues and has had one everywhere else he’s been. Clubs aren’t going to advertise players have release clauses. 
     

    So yes. He has one.

    I'm sure it's Vale policy to insert one whenever they sell.

    Won't be just that in this case either though, the agent will have insisted as well. Another sale is another payday for them.

    You got to wonder how many players would want to join a team that will probably be relegated before Easter?

    Clubs in our position are not nice places to be as we found out less than 2 years ago.

    I get the feeling we may get in a couple of kids to develop but nothing to change our course.

    We struck the iceberg somewhere between Bolton and Plymouth, and are now taking on water.

    We all know where this is going.

    I agree on this, we have very little in the way of pace in the side or we just don't see them using it often other than george hall. I'd love a couple of wingers through the door and a new CB

    NW - Phil was asking about any percentage sell on clause that Vale inserted into the deal as opposed to the release sale clause that plymouth put in his contract. 

    In response to phil, plymouth met his minimum fee release clause - however given it's being paid in installments, we may have insisted that they agree to a percentage sell on fee to accept their payment installment request (I'm praying so anyway!!)

    Yep, I would suggest he has a minimum fee in his deal at Plymouth as well, and would assume it was insisted upon by his agents as much as us. His career trajectory seems to suggest that he has taken a drop down the leagues with a focus on transfer moves as opposed to loans while at a PL academy. 

    It would certainly turn out to be a poor move for him if he hasn't negotiated one and is stuck at Plymouth against his wishes next season.

    He had a release clause at Aldershot and Port Vale. So, I’m guessing he’s done the same at Plymouth.

    Plymouth fans seem to think he’s got a release clause but they are not sure how much it is
