How long till window shuts as id be getting rid of the majority who played second half yesterday not because in there own way some are good individually because they lack character when fall behind and when get relegated as after yesterday thats a formality now unfortunately wehave too not have them in our club moving forwards as they have proved time and time again there reaction too falling behind in games is non existent .

So heres the list .

Amos ,Clark ,Headley ,Ojo ,Croasdale ,Shipley ,Cole ,Debrah ,Humpfries too start .

Put anyone who wants too go on the market .

Build a league 2 club on Henegan Hall Byers etc

Its time too remove losing mentality players

Let them go let them smear another clubs name .

Said the same on here last week. We’ve lost some identity I think where players “get” the club, whether that be home grown lads like a smith or a Gibbo…. Or players who have the right attitude like a leone Legge or wozza. We stripped that kind of character out of the dressing room in my eyes and I don’t see any of those traits in players in this squad.

Its all very nice........

I don't think it is so much "nice" as not prone to talking back to "the manager" Part of Flitcrofts legacy...

Yes, we need characters on the pitch who can do something to lift the team with a run or a tackle or have that mentality to drag us through tough spells in games.

Losing Curtis and now Johnson is not good

Fair enough we have players who naturally play down the left but them pair were our best 2 attacking wise

Have to trust that Brady has replacements in mind.

18 goals in 24 games. 5 against Blackpool. That's it. Nothing more to say.

would not build a team around byers gets a little knock and that will be it for weeks it looks like vale have got to many senior players that don't wont to play for the club but will pick up  there wages every month they should tell carol they want out and leave with no pay out that second half was terrable the first half was good but was like playing with 10 men brown was not in the game at all but is there some thing else going on behind the scenes

The issue we had is we recruited too well for L2 and not well enough for the longer term.

GK - None of our GKs are consistently L1 quality. That includes Gaucci who won’t make it at Villa despite the money they paid for him. Amos for me is our best option, but it is clear his best days are behind him.

Centre halves - Hall L2. Heneghan L2. Debrah L2. John not really a centre half, certainly not in a 2 at this level. And Humphries, he flatters to deceive. He looks good and tidy on the ball and positional he is good with a bit of pace, but aerially - the most important aspect you could argue - he is poor.

Full backs - Love Mitch, he is solid enough but he’s probably lower L1 at best. John, ditto. Gabriel is too injury prone. I actually don’t know if he’s any good because we haven’t seen him enough. Has he even played 10 games yet? Should have kept Johnson as at least he could deliver a cross.

Centre mid - Byers and Ojo HAVE to start together. Both pick up too many knocks though so we’ve barely seen it, but when we have they are the best thing we have. Garrity in front of them would really benefit in this system but is proving to be just as injury prone now. Shipley I’m yet to be convinced by, although could maybe be a good alternative to Garrity further up. Walters and Croasdale are good back ups for Byers and Ojo. This is the only area I feel we are okay.

Wingers - if you class him as a winger, George Hall is our only L1 quality winger. Trouble is, for how quick he is, once he picks his head up his final ball is shocking. But he is still a threat because of his pace. Waine is L2 standard. Plant and Shorrock are kids but need to prove themselves. Cole needs to be played in the centre.

Strikers - Stockley okay, but probably L2 level. I like Paton but needs to prove himself. If we could get some real good wingers in I’d argue he could play in the deeper role like Firmino used to do at Liverpool to allow the wingers to bomb forward (just as an example, he’s obviously nowhere near that level). Cole is a L1 striker but is a moments player and we need everyone humming so he can cook. Faal okay as back up, Brown just not very good.

We need to improve too many areas unfortunately. Reset next year and go again. Hope we can at least fight for the rest of the season.

The club have given up on this season. No incomings, still losing in the league consistently, best players leaving.

They don't care. Couple of loan players in at the end of the window, and welcome to league two by march.

My patience has worn thin with Carol and her family. Totally inept in any facet of running a football club.

Destructive nonsense from the pair of you.

And also ill-informed ignorance about the demands of running any major business, let alone a business that operates in the illogicality of the football world, where it is virtually impossible for the vast majority of clubs to come remotely close to breaking even.

Carol and Kevin are the best owners this club has ever had - my opinion based on approaching 70 years supporting the club, and on my experiences of personally running substantial businesses.

The only patience I'm concerned about is theirs, continuing to pour in endless time and effort and resources while also having to tolerate the likes of you two.

It doesn't matter how much we spend now,We're not staying up wouldn't waste spending money on players in the January transfer window, ide let this shower of 💩 take us down, then sort the wheat from the chaff at the end of the season, Brady can bring players in and build his own squad to get us back up ... that's just my opinion though 🤔🫣. Where’s it been reported that Johnson has gone, I’ve not seen it.

Curtis Nelson signed for MK dons from Derby and played well on his debut. We could have gone for him good solid centre half and was local.
