Well hard to judge heskey lad yet. Very good chance they won't be any near that level but I imagine the dads are very proud of far they've come anyways

Reigan Heskey looked alright for the England U17s this summer just gone. Though it's the older Heskey that's gone out on loan.

And Emile Heskeys dad was in the band showwaddywaddy

Lucas Mauragis could be playing tomorrow morning for central coast mariners, if anyone wanted have a look at him. I normally watch these Australian games early Saturday morning so will see what he’s like. The games on TNT at 7am

I think Elliot Lee is Rob Lee's son and his brother used to play for Birmingham.  There's also the Campbells, Deleps, Bruces, Lampards, Redknapps and Haalands. The latter 3 sons were/are arguably better than their fathers. Less famous footballing families include Terry (ex Vale) and Michael Owen. Terry Bailey's son and very briefly grandson were all professionals.

There will be a genetic element but also they pass a lot of social advantages to their children. Modern players also earn enough to send children to private schools. Surprisingly private school children are increasingly disproportionately represented in professional football.

Same in most sports, though I always thought Cricket was the worst for cronyism and nepotism. With the sheer popularity in football a lot of it will be who you know as well. It doesn't help facilities are not always there for the working class lad.

Charlton could be looking to loan out striker/winger Isaac Olaofe

For me someone like that or Elliot Lee on loan would be a million times better than having Brown from Derby but the problem we have is obviously being so rooted to the bottom of the table,if we were say 10th and 5 points off the play offs they are the type of players you should target

The club has so much to answer for sadly

With the best will in the world in our 1st season up after a single season in league 2 following a league 1 relegation we were never going to be 5 points off the play offs unless we matched Bradford’s spending which given the disparity in gates is impossible, it was always going to be a relegation battle.

It’s just really disappointing how we are so far behind. It takes a lot of doing to be so far adrift of safety come Christmas.

Highly likely we will be in League 2 next season but where theres life there’s hope.
Great effort by SVA today and some kind of result would keep the momentum going.
