Possibly or maybe a higher end L1 club.  Can't really blame him for not sticking around in all honesty

I can't blame him for not sticking around either but I have to say considering he hadn't played in months when we signed him his fitness levels were first class.

Is it possible to get 16 players in and 16 out in the same transfer window ?

In the Summer but not the Winter, with deep pockets and 3 months of planning  in preparation unless you have very deep pockets.

I'd rather we didn't do a Carlisle and panic sign a new squad.

Agree. This is the time to be cold and calculated business people. Thy fcked up the football part 3 months ago, that time has gone.

Get rid as many as possible save your money and rebuild in the summer.

We’re so far behind I reckon we won’t do much business now, and anyone we do sign will be with more of a view to next season in League 2 rather than keeping us up.  We need too many players in and the squads already bloated.  Interesting that non of the loans have gone back.

Honestly I know some won’t like it but I’m good with not making many signings. At this point may as well adopt a realistic view of where things stand and it’s just throwing good money after bad. Save the budget and give Brady the opportunity to build a squad more in his image this summer. Rather trim the squad down unless there’s someone Brady really wants.

It is surprising to me none of the loans have gone back. I wonder if there’s a certain window where the recall can be activated like there was with Rico.

The club have given up on this season. No incomings, still losing in the league consistently, best players leaving.

They don't care. Couple of loan players in at the end of the window, and welcome to league two by march.

This season will go down as one of the worst in my eyes. Can not ignore or hide from the fact we have wilted so early. The standard of league one this season is not great and this was our best chance of securing a seat at the league one table. Instead we are looking at scraps from the league two table once again. Maybe this is where we are meant to be?

I wouldn't sign anyone, and in the close season I would be looking at characters, those that hate to lose and also with a good injury record, no more of this he's a class player but he does come with a poor injury history.

i want someone with a bit of a nasty streak in them, we are so soft and if that flies in Carols family club feel then so be it.

Have to agree with this.  We’ve played all the teams now and not one stands out.  Mansfield today were really poor, just hard working and very physical, not a great deal of quality.  I thought first half we looked miles better than them but we wilted and looked weaker as the game wore on, certainly after the first goal.  Without checking the stats, I felt they had a lot of players I remember from League 2 rather than players I associate with the Championship.  We may have some better footballers than when we were in League 2 but we’re getting rolled over now because we appear to be physically weaker.  OK, we’re not scoring goals but we’re incapable of shutting teams down and drawing the game.

Our own boards amaze me, we win 2 cup matches and wonder about playing a Premier league team, I suggest survival is paramount and get castigated and here we are rinsing the team for being <ovf censored>. <ovf censored> the cups and focus on survival.

We need a strong core and build around that. The team/squad at present is far too vulnerable. Hurts to be negative after a promising first half but can't defend the collapse second half.

Where are the die hard players of old. Wear the Badge on their sleeve types. We have none this season. Leon legge and Nathan smith types. Devoid of this type of player.

Said the same on here last week. We’ve lost some identity I think where players “get” the club, whether that be home grown lads like a smith or a Gibbo…. Or players who have the right attitude like a leone Legge or wozza. We stripped that kind of character out of the dressing room in my eyes and I don’t see any of those traits in players in this squad.

Shame, would have liked to have kept him for the season. Very good player when he was on the pitch.

We’ve got to make room somewhere and he’s an easy one to get rid of. Obviously Brady prefers 4 at the back, so im not sure if Johnson is a decent left back though or better as  a wingback/winger?
