I'd honestly play Stockley over Cole whether he goes or not. G. Hall would be a loss, Byers less so especially since I think Cameron can do the foot on the ball and pick out a pass thing better (admittedly on 20 mins evidence).

"We are delighted to announce the return of striker Mo Faal on a permanent deal from Wrexham"

I actually knew devante off the field a few years ago. Ive posted about this before so you can check my history - we lost touch when I moved away from Manchester where he was living at the time.

Having watched the highlights since he joined, including when he was signed and his original promo shoots, he has looked 100% like he didn't want to be here. He knew I was a vale fan at the time when he played for Bradford and was never complimentary about us. That was a long time ago though so maybe he changed his opinion.

I've always thought he was coming here for a short term deal to get back on his feet and back out to other clubs. I don't think he ever had plans to be here longer than a season regardless of where the club finished.

These rumors could well be him trying to get a move done before deadline day.

I agree. We were always a stepping stone to tide him over before he found a bigger club. And who can blame him? It’s just a job to him. We all do the same in our jobs. We 100% don’t want a fed up striker on hi las wages for the rest of the season when there’s no chance of staying up

It was obvious from day one he didn't really want to be here. He's never struck me as being a team player, and his utterly pathetic showing as "captain" vs Exeter was a disgrace from a pro footballer.

If your saying Cole is a poor player then I don’t think you understand football.

On the subject of Captain. That was a weird decision. Was it to try and persuade him to stay? Was it to increase his value? Maybe I’m reading too much in to it.

Well great! Sell anyone half decent keep the dross! It's like a fire sale unfortunately! Left with a load of players who when they leave will be playing non league at best. How has it come to this?

Is he really that good? I’d drive him there if I’m honest. Another of the flatters to deceive brigade, only difference is he has his dad’s name for clout so vale fans get all gooey eyed.

My question would be, is he single handedly keeping us in league one? If your answer to the above is no then what difference does it make if he stays or goes, the impact is the same either way.

I don’t want to be in Doncaster’s position where it takes years to get rid of big earners. If we can loose some then so be . Non of them give a jot about the cause any way. Sooner this season is over and most of these fakers have gone the better.

Hard to single hand-idly keep a side in league 1 when the side Dosent create chances.
He was at West Brom in the Championship last season, he’s good enough for a low end league 1 side. Guarantee he scores 7/8 for whoever he signs for. Meanwhile we’re stuck with <ovf censored> Brown and Waine

How many games did he actually play for West Bromwich Albion....I thought he left because he was an expert bench warmer on match days🤔

Will the last player to leave port vale please switch off the lights.

Absolute madness the amount of people that want to drive a taxi for the only player in the team who scores goals for us (and second in the assists chart).

He'll leave and easily better his tally than what he got here. Paton unwanted too it seems, it's all a bit of a joke.

He played none before coming to us. It’s odd sell your 2 most prolific strikers and expect to be ok in league one, sounds like amateur hour at vale park
