Anyone suggested Connor Wickham on a free yet? I can deal with the bad results, but I cannot deal with not being linked to him for the 37th straight transfer window.

Im sure Vale Whispers and Unofficial Vale are already on the case.

I actually fear that the free fall we are seeing at the moment could result in us losing our place in the football league.
Things are clearly in an utter mess on and off the pitch.

On the same day as the only player who would have gotten into double figures for us this season is being lined up for an inevitable move away, I've just realised this non-league lad we've been linked to, who plays for a Workington Town side 10 points adrift at the bottom of step 7, is, rather than a youth prospect as I expected, actually TWENTY SEVEN years old.

He’s not been linked with us. It’s just Vale fans adding 2 + 2 and getting Batman

Just realised it was Brady that signed him.

I hate rubbish like this from player’s & management especially at League One & Two level.

its not about formations and where the manager wants to take the club, its all about how much are you going to pay me and for how long

Can you tell us how you know all this detail?

Season ticket holder at sixfields mate, have watched him enough times in the past. His only asset is pace and thats about it.

I was hoping that the Exeter game would be the low point of the season but if these Devante Cole rumors are true than it just gets worse.

See what happens but if he does leave, who can blame him especially if Vale can pocket somewhere close to 7 figures. My head says we're down anyway, my heart tells me we've still got a chance but without DC we're done, well and truly done.

How long is it since he's scored? I know - service etc but that's unlikely to improve and I think he can score goals in a succeeding side but won't win us any battles in the next few months. Sensible to cash in  for me. His interview on v arrivaL MADE ME THINK HE REGARDS US AS NOTHING MORE THAN A SHOP WINDOW. Not shouting caps lock stuck

This is pretty clear his agent is trying to drum up interest.

It won’t be anywhere close to 7 figures mate.

but we can dream.

Cole plus any other player to leave before windows closes.

I said when Brady was appointed we were getting L2 ready. We are making sure of that before the window closes. Business point of view it makes sense, from a point of view of fans and looking for hope and optimism for next season, that’s going to be a tough sell.

Vale waved the white flag on the season quite some time ago. Absolutely shambles of a season.

With only 12 months left on his deal, his value will decrease significantly.  Prices are high in January.  If its a good deal I'd take it.  We'd then have to look at a different pairing up front, which may not be a bad thing.

Dol, I thought he penned a three year deal.
