Matchday market moves over the first two matches indicate that syndicate(s) like us. The Outright relegation expectation doesn't match up with the 1X2 odds thus far. For us to go off favs at Rotherham would indicate the syndicates expect us to finish mid table or higher.

Interesting and Thanks....👍

Why would anyone be crackers predicting a win? We're playing Cardiff, at home, not PSG. Play like we did in the second half against Rotherham and start the game on the front foot then we have every chance.

Obviously it's only one game in and whilst respectful that we were 2 divisions apart , they to me don't have the aura of a Derby, Wednesday or Pompey.

No reason at all that we can't get a positive result.

Fair play to their following, new ground or not the numbers are superb for midweek.

I'm quietly optimistic if we start as we finished at Rotherham that we'll turn them over.

Ultimately doesn't matter where we both resided last year, we are at the same level now and no League Game is unwinnable. Its tough and we have to respect them but its a game we should be looking to get some kind of result in at home.

Never really felt of Pompey as a big pull fixture, these are probably similar in that they used to be much smaller, 20 odd years ago we were a couple of divisions above but have done well, got the new stadium and increased that way, so not as historically massive as Derby/Wednesday/Wolves down here in the past but one that has done well and arguably is a good example longer term of growth, like Hull City or Swansea for example did in a similar vein.

Im trying to buy my dad a ticket for tonights game and hes 65 so im selecting the over 62 ticket and when i try purchase it says that i need to assign it to a member with the right date of birth. He isnt a member is there anyway around this? Seems a bit ridiculous i cant buy and extra ticket through my account

Not without calling the ticket office or creating him an account and linking it as I had the same issue with my Son, so had to register him an account as a kids one and linked it up.

Well, it depends on your starting point. Cardiff were certainly in the lower divisions in the 1980s, but before that they were in the (old) First Division, and got to the semi-final and quarter-final (twice) of the European Cup Winners Cup. I remember seeing us win 2-0 there (Steele, Portwood) in the cup in the season when they were Second Division champions. They were a lot bigger than us then!

spare ticket going for railway stand tonight

It depends on whether Stockley is fit,as to who we start.

TBH I'd take a point to get us going but it'll be a big ask.

Hopefully the home fans are noisy but patient.

I can't see Moore moving away from 3 CBs and if this is the case,it'll probably be Gordon for Headley

Marosi

Clark Jesse Humphreys Hall Gordon

Byers Croasdale Ojo(although I would start Walters)

Tolaj Curtis

Hope you’re right with the 532, which suits our strengths perfectly. Not entirely sure (can we ever be sure with Dazza?) that he won’t start 343, he seems besotted with it despite all the evidence from last season. Fingers crossed!

It'll be past most of their players bedtime when they kick off the second half tonight. I think we'll be a far bigger test than Peterborough on Saturday. I'm growing with optimism as the day progresses but fear that this feeling will be dashed after 20 minutes of docile play.

I was like that on Saturday! Optimism, if Waine can do it on a tropical Tuesday evening in the Cook Islands he can do it here, Tolaj is going to ping a couple in.... 32 minutes in a text the wife "What a waste of an afternoon" Football eh!
