I think the signing of Hall will turn out a great bit of business. 21 years old and a 3 year contract and the lad has a lot going for him. It’s a very savvy signing in my opinion 

I would drop Curtis for Saturday.

Been told he's being released to go play in Scotland - don't k ow how true that is. Hope it's wrong.

Looks like a good two in so far . I now the 2nd string need games but, to me, at the moment the first team needs more game time together . Tomorrow night I would play Daz's best team plus the two new lads . Give them a game before putting them on the bench for Saturday . Some may say they cant handle the games so close together - I dont believe that - they are professional sports people who have not had a hard season , just a few games so far . Use leeds under 21s to try to see how the new 2 fit in and if it isn't quite right try a few options in a dick competition that doesnt matter . The Leeds match is a bonus for the New players as we have two other matches in that comp if we lose in it.  Get the new guys playing with the rest and see what needs tweaking - plus it will give em some experience of the Vale pitch rather than the training pitch.

It’s amazing news. Maybe he has a three year deal as he wanted security over a bigger short term contract? Either way if he bangs in the goals he will have to leave for money rather than a free. Clever move. If he is crap we are stuck, but historically quality has justified itself.

Looks nicely balanced. There are arguments for Croasdale or Heneghan but that's healthy to have these options.
