I feel like he has been better the last few games as he's been further up the pitch.

When he first came back from injury he dropped deep a lot more, which did keep things ticking over but seemed like a waste of his talents.

I think we are kind of agreeing with each other though. With our current back 3 we have a tendency to go left to right or right to left in a horseshoe shape. What would be ideal is a few ball playing CBs, who can pick a pass to midfielders in the centre. Would make us a lot less predictable and get Byers/Walters receiving the ball in an area they can do something with it.

    As much as I like Croasdale,I prefer Walters and Byers as a 2,if both fit. Walters has come on leaps and bounds and if both have a good pre season then it bodes well.Everyone knows how valuable Garrity is so I think we are ok in MF. I would be tempted to try to get Richards back but it depends if he is satisfied with cameos from the bench.

    I also feel we are strong at WB if all are fit but our CBs are neither quick enough,nor are they good enough on the ball IMO. Hart was extremely disappointing,especially fitness-wise and Sang isn't good enough,in any position.

    Another GK,a revamp of the CBs,one more MF and a couple of forwards should be ok but only if Moore plays tactics that we employed in the runs of games where we attacked more. Play the dross that we played in the 17 games when Moore was manager in League 1 and it's a relegation battle and it's about tactics not comparing the squads.He has been given the funds to build this squad

    Yh. He was under contract till the end of last season,played 30 odd games then released due to injury. No club as such and he's only 26

    I don't think that we are too far away already with the squad, but need a little more quality in a few areas and IMO, so real pace all over. I would expect to see 4-5 leave and have them replaced by 2 (or similar ratio depending on how many leave). i would imagine the squad will get smaller, but with the addition of a little more quality.
