Certainly no one on there of interest really although I remember Josh Hawkes causing us a few problems

I think where League 2 retained lists are concerned it's better to look who teams are offering new terms to as generally they will be their better players imo

Had the same thoughts about signing Will Wright from Swindon, tidy footballing centre half, good at set pieces (scored a direct free kick and pen against us) but then I saw him in the 5-4 against Bradford - his defending was woeful, letting Kavanagh run off him for at least two goals. I guess at this level footballing centre halves who can defend are a rarity since as soon as any emerge the PL/Champ snap them up.

I think we are pretty well stocked at right wingback if Clark stays.  I'd certainly take Clark over Cover. We never saw Cover play in midfield,  which is supposedly his best position.  I think he'd be a player to consider if Leicester release him, maybe on a 12 month contract with an extension clause.  Young, quite mobile and generally good on the ball. More as a project than a definite first choice.

Taylor Allen is one of the few players we've played against this year that I'd be keen to sign - exactly the sort of player I think we need.

 

I would honestly keep Chislett as long as his attitude is fine. He's shown in the past he can play at League One level and it suits him more than the more physical League Two. Moore likes to play Garrity deeper so him and Curtis can battle it out to play behind the strikers.

For me, certainties to go are Jones, Lowe, Hart, Harper, Ojo and Edwards. The 6 replacements all need to be much better quality.
