You are forgetting the Darren Moore effect. It also depends how ambitious we are as we could push the boat out with a long contract.

Obviously it has to be within reason but i dont think money will be an issue this window and with the pull Moore has who knows who we could get

Money is always an issue in any walk of life.

Is the Icelandic striker who went Burton signed up there for another year? Is it bodvardsson? He’s a decent forward and in the stockley mould and would be a good signing I think.

Eh? He ll be looking to improve on mid table Lincoln, newly promoted and favourites for relegation port vale won’t interest him at all.

Are we favourites for relegation? Not seen any odds yet. Only prediction I’ve seen is from a Wimbledon blogger and for whatever reason he has us finishing a quite fantastical 3rd (behind Luton and Plymouth).

It'll be a cold day in Hell when we sign him 😅😅

What happened to Jake Taylor? (Not saying I’d want him back, just curious as to where he went after Morecambe)

I believe Sproson said on the radio and few weeks before the end of the season he was still a free agent. Must be his injuries putting clubs off.

I'll have some of what he's on! There's no way we're finishing 3rd next season I'm afraid, unless Carol is willing to fritter away 15 million on wages next season. We will have to build steadily I think and aim to be an Orient or Wycombe.

Possibly. Just feel if he is that good then there will be some big sides in for him and naturally you’d expect the player to jump for a Bolton rather than vale. Moore will obviously have some pull but I’m not sure it’s going to be as large now we’re back in league 1. Couple of years of stabilising, then push on, just like Orient

Retired from football.

Would be a great signing but surely is destined to leave for a top end league 1 club

Yes that’s us.

When we went up last time, the most noticeable difference in quality was how clinical teams were. We were punished for every mistake - be interesting to see how Bradford react to this. They have been in lg2 so long they won't know what it's like.

That said I do think we need to sign 2 ball playing centre backs. A lot of the goals we concede tend to be when we try and play out and get caught flat footed. Also Byers comes to collect which then means his options are more predictable as there is no one in the middle to pass to.

I like Amos - he is quite steady - but would also keep an eye on what becomes available.

Playing 3 at the back we are so dependent on our wing backs for getting up the pitch (one of the reasons why headley makes such a difference) - Again I would look for reinforcements / cover here.

Never say never but agree with what you say. Guess it shows we at least impressed some teams’ fans more so than our own this season- then again we did the double over Wimbledon and their fans wouldn’t have witnessed first hand our away games against Barrow, Grimsby, Gillingham etc. It’s similar to our fans suggesting players we should sign on the basis of how they played against us (on one or two occasions) - the danger being we might end up with a Kyle Perry or Ryan Loft rather than a Martin Foyle.

Byers doesn't come to collect often enough for me. First half it was Hall to Smith to Debrah to Amos etc, then whack it long.

I want Byers on the ball cos he can certainly play
