Been saying that if we go up (automatically or play offs) it’s gonna be a bit rubbish because we’ve been poor/bang average for most of the season (despite results). Not really seen us this season and thought “we look a really decent side”.

Confused as to why we’ve gone back to this 343/3421 sort of set up as well. Doesn’t suit us and doesn’t allow our better players to flourish. We looked much better with a simple 352 with an extra midfielder and an extra striker. 

Totally agree Davey closedcase. I got pelters for saying it after we got an 89th winner against second bottom on Saturday. 

Be amazed if Moore changes anything at half time - he will wait until its too late

Awful team selection. The 3-4-3 just doesn’t work, I have no idea why he persists with it. A painful half of football. 

Sang, Harper, Curtis & Hackford need replacing with Clark, Croasdale, Rico & Tolaj. Plenty of firepower & energy to bring off the bench. Just hope the subs are done at half time & not 70 mins! 

We will be a laughing stock to our promotion rivals. I bet Crewe can't wait to play us if they are watching this

Appalling and confusing selection by Moore to begin with. We’re being overrun in midfield, with a lackluster Harper just drifting around. Hackford has done okay, but he’s not a right-sided player—he should be playing off the shoulder of the two big lads at the back. Huge second half ahead

They have an extra man in central midfield and it shows. We need Croasdale on asap.

It seems a mental block for the Vale players now playing on a tuesday.  Oh we haven't won for 3 years on a tuesday - so we will sit deep and hoof the ball up into their half and look like we could be trying.

Vale players need to sort it out and DM change the shape and go for it.  We need 3 points off this game.

why isnt this on Sky live? I thought all midweek matches were. I am having to watch Carlisle as on hols and was hoping to watch us on my sky subscription for once!

With everything taken into account that might be the worst first half in the history of Port Vale FC.

Get someone in temporary charge for the second half.

Garrity was poor, he was closing down, for the goal and has done nothing.

Need a re think, not blaming him for the way we are playing, just need him up the pitch more.

Dreadful. Said to my mate that line up stinks of no attacking patterns / style and some guaranteed changes from Moore at half time when he realises he has got it wrong again. 

There are what 9/10 games to go? And we’re resting players. It’s ridiculous management. 

Midfield non existent, no where near the forwards who are completely isolated. For me, all 3 forwards have been less than useless. Curtis like Saturday, poor. Hackford, no idea why he’s starting. And for me Stockley, hasn’t held it up well or done much at all. 

Garrity, Harper, Debrah, Stockley, Curtis, Hackford and Amos have been dreadful. 

Look like we have no idea of how to attack and no pattern of play. Like most of the season. On the manager this
