The emotion of it all 

A couple of months back i organised next Saturday afternoon in Stafford with a couple of old lecturing mates. One from Cannock, one a Walsall fan 🤣🤣🤣 we didn't have a clue about the fixture when sorting it. Should be a bit of a giggle after a big English brekkie and a few guinnesses😛😛

This is another game that I expect to be different than when we played them at Vale,that was the one where he decided to play with no natural striker and apart from the back 3 the rest of the team wasn't a very strong one with Chislett/Richards and Curtis in the attacking roles and Cover/Hart in the wing back roles

It maybe fine on Saturday but I've been through Walsall today with work and it was the normal traffic  and 40/50 miles per hour so I'd say plan for 30 minutes hold ups getting there.

Be careful around Walsall if you're going.

Their bin men are on strike so it's an even bigger **** tip than usual.

Wow what a game this is now. Can we return the favour and leap frog them like they did to us in first half the season which won them the title at Christmas. Only this time we could actually be on our way to winning the real thing

Another massive game in a league where there are still at least 11 teams who will believe they can get promoted,  12 if you include Fleetwood who are a defeat away from being out of the hunt. After this game we still have Grimsby and Wimbledon,  plus Carlisle who will be fighting for survival.  I suspect this will still go to the wire. Hopefully we can get a big win somewhere to bolster our goal difference.  Bradford vs Crewe and Colchester vs Notts County are going to have a big impact at the end. After 55 years maybe this season we make it as champions 🤞

This is not going to the wire for Port Vale.

Last nights results and that 5 point gap between us & 5th place, is a massive psychological boost at the business end of the season in our favour.

I personally think now that automatic promotion is going to be wrapped up for us before our last game v Gillingham

No complacency for this game. We still have a job to do and take each game as it comes. 

Need to be proffesional, calm and hard working. Gonna be in dream land if we win!!!! 😜
