Are tickets for this physical ones we need to collect, or a QR code like Crewe?

Yes 8 of us heading to Brum. Usually go the Shakespeare for a couple.

Bet there be a few sleepless nights going into this one .

Walsall away I see last week they filled the ground v Wimbledon with a ticket offer .

There pitch ain't the best .

Ellis Harrison plays for them and that Jamille Matt .

They are top,so fair play to them , ,how I dont know, but they must have a lot of character ,in there ranks as behind v Wimbledon and Doncaster and equalised v both and managed get a point in both .

Last 3 times I've being to there  ground, I've seen Tom Pope score and Vale win, I've seen us draw 2-2 and I've seen a penalty shoot out win in ldv or whatever it was called at time .

It's a big game ,and I think its going be a game where Connor Hall scores, the Swindon mega save and the Fleetwood how's that not gone in will be ,get in it's as it  flys in .

We need to keep the ball, though it's no wonder the players crawl off Vale , spend most of most games running after ball too much for my liking ..

First half possession with good movement ,is required in both half's, as the biggest disappointment for me Tues night was we 2 ahead ,keep the ball ,open them up like BG said it become kick and rush ,and let's face it we look a very poor side when it becomes a kick and rush game ,we actually look better when we pass it on the floor ,and move through the field with intent .....

The Vale second goal is the way to play all game

If we do we win ,if we get engulfed in kick and rush, we will end up on back foot ,because let's face it apart from Tolaj cutting in and shooting second half ,we created diddly squat and for ok team organisation superb, however team play second half not so much for me in  my humble opinion

UTV

Not been in the Shakespeare for years! Had a few liquid lunches in there!

The Wellington a bit further up the hill is a cracking boozer.

I agree with Lowe being the very obvious turning point. I did see some other Walsall debate on the drop off and around a similar time they lost Lowe they also lost/had injuries to two players they would often bring on in games, and not have a massive change in team shape / approach.

So not quite an impact to their starting 11, but part of what made 2024 Walsall so effective was their relentless press and energy. So think they are hampered by strength in depth and must be difficult to fling a load of jan signings into their team and expect instant results.

I think the mental side is at play now rather than just missing Lowe goals . The longer they go without a win the worse it has been getting, particularly at this time of year. We all know how difficult it can be winning games in a promotion season when you get to March. It’s the wrong time of year to be a scratching for a win.

After us they have a nice looking run in but it’s never that straightforward when your desperate for a win to change your fortunes.

I said they were nothing special when they were running away at the top. They were nothing special at all at Vale Park. I thought we were quite poor that game more than them being anything of real note. They'll be a tough nut to crack and everything points to an extremely tight game, but see no reason at all why we can't go there and win. I think the quality we will have on the bench can and will be the difference.

I don't want our support be nervous .

Just sing your hearts out for the lads .

Encourage and see what occurs .

Not that far away really only 33 and half hrs till kick off .

Croasdale has deserved to net in last 2 games  let's hope it's third time lucky .

Stockley had one what I thought had gone over the line in the other windswept fixture .

Motivation for both teams should be sky high but I wonder who will be out the 2 teams the more nervy .

I remember years ago Walsall coming to Vale and winning 5-0 ,crikey.

That was bad I think under Rob Page and I  think they went on get promoted .

I'm not sure how this games going pan out .

If betting man which I am occasionally when I can be bothered I'd say a high scoring draw 3-3 .

It's hard to be clear of where the games going be won for Vale .

We need play better than in last away v Crewe, where the 15 mins to half time they were really stretching us and we were lucky to come out thst period with a 0 by our name .

Confidence should be through the roof .

Mind you there last gasp equaliser's v Wimbledon/Doncaster should give there team belief also

It's all set up

Would I be happy with a point and remain third ,in a way yes however a defeat really strengthens Walsalls plight and a win gives Vale a narrow 1 point above them .

Going be some build up

Gooarrnnnn Vale

I'd take a point now.....

We then stay very close to 💩SALL.....

We then have two highly winnable games to follow....
