It was a very odd ref performance today.

A few extremely poor challenges and a professional foul when we broke away 3 v 2 and not even a booking.

A soft penalty then 2 minutes later nothing against Umolu.

Thought that was a better performance from Sam Hart and overall the defence was solid. Byers caught their players foot as he lifted his leg, poor penalty to give away.

We were coasting when the subs, bar Chislett, turned the game to them. 
Did not see the Curtis incident, but if banned, will be a huge detriment.

Three points great, we now need to keep the run going.

That’s what’s really aggravating about it. If he has to react at all just point at the scoreboard and laugh in his face otherwise just walk away. I’m all in favour of players competing hard and doing whatever it takes whistle to whistle but the game was done.

That said, we do know the refereeing is crap, so we have to be much cleverer.  

Told at the game the Ref was the one that did the Crewe game, gave us nothing that night and he kept it up today.

It’s so daft from Curtis. No need to get involved in any aftermath, we’ve won the game & he’s had another really good game along with an assist. With Stockley out for a number of weeks & Tolaj getting a knock he’s had a great chance to get a run in the team now which up until today he’s more than taken. I’d go as far to say he was undroppable with his performances of late even if Stockley became available sooner than expected. By the time his ban is up you’d think Stockley should be back & he could well have blown his opportunity of a regular place in the starting line up. He must be fuming with himself.
