Curtis should never have given the ref the chance to brandish a red card at him.  He saw what the ref was like all through the game.  Football stupidity.  DM and Co must be livid with him.

I agree but and I'm not defending it but maybe heat of the moment , adrenaline going through and maybe a Salford player said a comment to get a reaction. Happens all the time even in the Premier League but again I wasn't there so I can't comment but sounds like Salford players were looking for it all game

That's actually the only one I think was clear-cut (the second yellow, at least - the first was very soft). The referee was ok today - got both penalty shouts right, even with the old wide leg trick from Salford - but in my view that red was nonsense.

The next two up only have 6 points more than Vale combined and have played 3 games more.

Listening to Radio Joke now. 30 minutes in of a one hour show, and I'm not sure, but did Stoke lose?

Never take it for granted we have games on other teams.  Vale have to win them and this is Vale after all.

Great win. I can’t complain about Curtis as I’ve been bigging up his attitude and desire for weeks. I also want vale to be a bit more horrible than previous seasons and I suppose this is the outcome of it going a bit far. Onwards we march. UTFV.

They were probably the worst team we’ve played this season. Curtis needs fining 6 months’ wages. If Tolaj not back, I’d rather give Big Jesse a go up front than Umolu. The latter doesn’t look fit or motivated or both.
