and Stockley

If both well and fit, totally agree but I can’t see Stockley being ready to start.

No idea what happened with Curtis, was right in front of me in the Paddock and saw nothing. Was shielding the ball in the corner to run down the clock, a bit of pushing and then a red card for... no idea.

We only have to play 4 teams currently 7th or higher in the last 15 games. If we can get through this next 4 nicely (1 home 3 away) then that sets up a fantastic 3 game run all at home against teams doing nothing. It’s still on if we can get Garrity and Tolaj back asap.

Shouldn’t give the ref any opportunity

Yep it's poor discipline, I would be giving Curtis a right bollocking behind closed doors

That red card has really taken the shine off a great result.

I’d keep the doors open

We have to keep players fit and get them to show some discipline, we are making things really difficult for ourselves.

Specially when you know the standard of referees we are getting to ref Vale matches.  They love to support the other side and become car happy against Vale players for safe tackles they let the other teams off with.

DM and Co need to get at the players about their disciplinary record and stupidity at times - which gives the refs the chance to book them or show red cards at the players.

Need to recall Paton.

We’ve got to have a certain amount of players suspended or injured otherwise the Vale universe goes out of sync. Sangy is coming back and we were running out of time for a 50-50 to be given as a red, so Curtis got in at the last minute. After the last minute actually, which is a special kind of genius.

Was thinking the same -great 3 points - bang - Curtis shown a straight red card.  Great 3 games without him and he was playing really well.
