Yet in the first half we created loads of chances? If we had converted them (players fault not Moores) we would have been cruising.

DM changed the team and we won.

Newport were better than us first half and deserved to be at least one up, we were very lucky when there shot hit the inside of the post then the goalie to go out for a corner.

Just had a watch of the highlights. When Jameson was sent off the ref only showed a straight red card. Usually they show the second yellow then the red to confirm a sending off.
just another weird refereeing act or did he deem it a straight red?
He showed a yellow first and then a red. Saw it clear as the day at the game.

Would you like to meet up and you can try calling me a racist to my face? Odious runt!

I haven't called you that? Have you made that up in your own head? I thought you were ignoring me?

Calm down. You seem stressed. Offering people out for a fight is pretty much the preserve of people with a chip on their shoulder.

Just watched it again. Red first, then the camera pans away to focus on the player.
may have given a yellow after but definitely red first. Won’t make any difference to the result but could help other teams who play them afterwards.

I aren't for one minute sticking up for Moore as when i heard the starting line up i was fuming and the first half justified that BUT he changed it,we won the game with 21 shots and 10 on target,we are 3rd and have 2 wins and a draw in the last 3 games,so long may that continue.

What i do want to say is those really digging into Moore for starting Hackford, well the majority imo after reading comments said he should start after his performance at Doncaster(even a couple who moaned since),he played very well at Donny so didn't deserve to be dropped(we all moan when he drops a player who has played well in the previous game) yesterday.... now after that performance yesterday he shouldn't be near the team at all for a while.

I thought John,Clark and Headley were superb yesterday and those in the week saying about sang maybe leaving wow really,he was immense when he came on and on the left side as well..... really deserves a new contract imo

Anyway first half shocking in fact disgraceful although even then we had chances to be 4 up ..... second half outstanding

Delighted with win, especially coming from behind twice.  Credit to manager for the changes but for me second half performance proved he had picked the wrong starting 11.  Harper & Stockley should have started rather than Lowe & Hackford.

You do know Harper and Stockley aren’t fit enough to play 90 mins don’t you hence them being benched.

I enjoyed the second half but the first half was similar to having dental surgery 😁

It wasn’t that pleasant 😂

Best thing about yesterday was Clark being back to his best self again.

To come back from such a horrific injury like that to then playing 90 minutes is incredible.

Hes had a few bad injuries over the years and the strength to come back mentally shows the character he has

Hope he's at vale for years to come

Yeah I did suggest Sang would find it difficult to get in the team last week, but fair play to him he was impressive when he game on. He's clearly now ahead of Debrah in the pecking order for playing at centre back.

Happy to be wrong about Mitch Clarke.

After the injury issue pre season I thought he would be out the door on loan. Never thought he could come in and look like the player he was at the begging of last season. He’s been outstanding. With John, him and Sang the RWB area looks very well stocked.

Not sure what’s happened to Cover?

I reckon he could be recalled. We have plenty of cover ( no pun intended ) in the wingback position now with Clark , John , hart , Sang and Headly able to play there

There's still young Shorrock and Grant on the books. Both could potentially go out on loan as well

1 month ago there is now way I would want Cover to leave. In the main he’s made a really positive contribution but now we have 3 players to slot in at RWB its a bit of a luxury to have him, especially as we are at the maximum of loan players.

Shows how quickly things can change.

Don’t know what happened to cover , but I would of played him in his natural position Midfield instead of Lowe

Other than that season where we had that declopment squad with the likes of Hugill and Cheye Alexander come from. I cant remember vale having such a big squad like this over the years.

But as expected its needed. Vale seem to be cursed with injuries when it comes to December. Happens every season
