The football is so boring.

Why would I give up £24 to go and watch us play for a 0-0 and try and nick a goal from a set piece?

Easy answer to that question .

Because Vale is your team .

I agree though I don't get it .

Surely when had more folk attending than usual you play all the players who can score goals and do something keep the fans who don't usually attend coming

Not Vale they turn in there most feeble attacking displays, when fans turn up in numbers ,after supporters have made a effort try build a buzz online by encouraging the stay aways to attend ,so in the end they don't bother come as they get disillusioned with it and it's a bag of wind so in the grand scheme of things means nothing.

It's been happening for years .

Today will be the first game this season I’ve not attended or seen on the box. Hoping it brings some kind of jinx to the team! Hurts me to boycott but hurts me even more watching just lately. Have to do what’s right for me & if that’s a break away from it then so be it. I’ll be checking in on the score & hoping for a win nonetheless 💪🏻

I’m hoping thar Garrity makes an early return. I’d also give Amos a go and for me Connor Hall is not the player he was, I’d also go with 2 left footers on the left so I’d try Hart and Curtis.

We have to go more attacking with Richards on the right and Curtis on the left and use the width of the pitch. I assume Stockley is still injured.

So with that in mind..

                           Amos

Clark.           Smith.  Heneghan         Hart

Richards.     Garrity. Croasdale.      Curtis

                           Chislett

                           Tolaj

That's them lot down the road safe then !! [emoji35]

Curtis isn’t left footed.

Good manager. But will he be given the time 🤔

We've played the most away games in the division (13) and the second fewest home games (10). We've had one Saturday 3pm home game since the 26th October. 6 of our last 9 have been away. It's a very weird fixture list we've been served up.

Conversely, teams like MK have played 13 at home and 8 away. Walsall are 12 and 10, as are Wimbledon.

Time to settle - positivity and aggression at home, conservative against the big sides away. If Moore can keep the defensive solidity for Doncaster, Crewe, Wimbledon, Chesterfield, and Walsall away, but add a bit of gumption in the 13 of the 23 remaining games to be played at home, then he might just get through all this.

A big if, though.

Yep. He’s been lined up basically since he got the boot from Coventry, so it was only a matter of time for Pelac. Coates isn’t stupid, he knows the fans are, errr, revolting shall we say 🤣

Unfortunately, other than Moyes who was also rumoured, that’s probably about as good a managerial appointment as they could have hoped for.

If they don’t get it right this time then there is no hope for them. I just hope “Super” Johnny Walter’s can’t resist stick his oar in, because one thing Robins isn’t, is a ‘yes’ man.

Pity, I had real hopes that Rooney leaving Argyle had something to do with it!

Fair enough VTID-New your choice, but if we win today I will send you a box of my posh coffee's. 😂

If we lose today then Moore has to go.

I don`t think there is much point in sacking Moore at the moment, as we haven`t got a midfield so no manager could get much more from the current available players. Last season we sacked Crosby in a similar situation and that didn`t help either.

I wouldn`t have appointed him but now we have got him, we have to stick with him through this struggle and get behind the team.

He need play fewer defenders  and more midfielders ,and they have to run in the box with the ball ,how often in last 10 years do you see a Vale player pick up the ball and drive into oppositions box with momentum not very often at all .

How many penalties have we won with such play .

How many times do  we do a quick free kick

How many times do we win a throw in and throw it too our own players

How many times do our 4 statue centre half's at home  power a header in at goal .

Well them reasons alone  just a slight improvement in all them areas  will   make a difference.

What we working on in training.

Where's the movement at corners from our players

Where's the guts

Only really succeeded at Coventry, he maybe suits Coventry a bit like Mickey Adams with Vale. That's what I'm hoping.

But apparently his success was all down to his relationship with his number two Adi Viveash, which soured last season and led to Viveash leaving in the summer, which is why Coventry fell off a cliff this season - there are apparently big question marks as to whether Robins can replicate that with Stoke without his long time assistant.
