Front three looks better. But my God, has there ever been a slower back 3 in the history of football?

If you play a back 3, you need a couple of them to be able to pass the ball a bit, otherwise it's like playing with 10 men

11 is better but I’m sick of seeing a back 5

Gonna stick it on the box. Can’t turn my back on this club as much as I’m not convinced with the gaffer & our season under him. You guys were right 👍🏻

Top man!!

It’s what we do ain’t it Osh. Just hope we perform today or just get this bloody win!

Garrity is massive for us, as per last season we lost the plot when he was injured.

Smith will fight and John is a big plus if he recaptures form.

Not a chance he goes with 2 strikers mate. Team has a lot who will be eager to take their chance, natural battlers & some grit & leadership tho 👍🏻

It just feels better in the middle with some grit in there now and Croasdale not having to do the job of two men.

I’m urging DM now Tolaj has an opportunity give him a proper extended run and don’t just change it if it doesn’t click straight away.

Amen brother

Where are the goals coming from in the team This team looks set up to nick a result #. I feel for Paton it seems like he's always being dropped it's pathetic from the manager

True. Curtis & Tolaj will be fuelled up today I reckon.

Playing 5 at the back is showing respect to the opposition.

This is  where Vale fall down .

Matt Taylor is always too good for our defence generally so 3 big centre half's against 1 striker  straight away that's leaving 2 of there's roam about .

But  everyone too  there own too poorly attend so I ain't going miss anything .

Still feel we going too defensive especially with Garrity back get some more legs by him.ease him back in .

Shorrock excluded from the a squad again. Literally starts him, hauls him off then leaves him out the squad completely then selects him to start again. Bonkers.

John should be starting every game if fit so glad he’s on. Fitness of Garrity will clearly be an issue

Delighted Smith is back in. Should be starting every single game. Deborah is hopeless, good decision there, shame it’s taken half a season.

Same with Ripley, too many errors.

Starting 11 is decent, still don’t think the 5 is required and Henneghan shouldn’t be playing but at least some decent personnel changes. I still think we will be quite conservative

For me , you're right it does look a conservative line up ,The manager and players need a massive performance here

He's got the tools to get us promoted and he needs to start being more offensive with his tactics , predicting a tight game that could go either way

Overall it’s the lineup that the majority seem happy with, compared to previous games. So let’s see if it yields an improvement.

The personnel in the back three worries me. Smith isn’t a right centre back, play him in the middle and you’ll see him at his best. We’ve been saying this for about 5 years.

Tolaj needs a shot upfront

Moore doing him no favours by keep chucking him in though & then binning him out for weeks. Agree he needs a loan

He is a young lad DM is not binning him he is managing him and its the right thing to do.
