I don’t think Garrity is fit enough to play yet but we will see I heard February probably

I still think it’s too soon for him; bring him back too soon could be dangerous

for his rehabilitation but the medical team decid that

With regards tomorrow's game, I feel it's definitely a MUST WIN game, for the player's as much as the fan's. Confidence appears to have hit rock bottom and although we lost on Sunday I feel that had we scored when we were 'at it' those first 15/20 minutes then the game would have panned out much differently.

We need to attack from the start and SHOOT. Take the game to them and press hard - like teams are now doing to us.

Be brave, don't rely on another player to do something positive - do it yourself. We are not a bad side, our players must believe that each of them is better than their counterpart on the opposite side.

Get the first goal and then go for the jugular, get the fan's behind you - WIN every challenge, every second ball, compete for 90+ minutes and BELIEVE IN and TRUST each other.

Do you want a job as the manager!!!😁👍

Or at least do the pre-match talk.

4-4 bladdddddddy 2!

FORWARDS!

Pivotal game tomorrow. Hope the players show up as it could turn nasty. Due to the buses (or lack of)I shall be walking tomorrow there and back (just a couple of miles each way). It's not just me but a lot of fan's put a lot of effort in to watch them. I hope the players realise this so are entitled to express their opinion when they don't see similar on the pitch. Despite all this just booked my ticket to Doncaster for the first away game of the season (shift patterns etc 🥱). More fool me but I always think new game fresh page. Noone boos when the players come out do they. So come on vale put the effort in and the crowd will back you!

I know it sounds cheesy , but why not just turn up and get behind the lads - it's a new year,  - we're Vale aren't we !!!

Happy New Year to all Valiants wherever you are in the world......especially The Happy Clappers Club!!!!! 🤣 (Moaners are included, too, of course!🤣)

What am I going to put meself through again tomorrer...... oh well, it's the hope wot kills yer!

Come on Lads please give us summat shout about....in a good way.

Vale is something people really love, and for some it's there everything in life so when we play meekly (Middlesbrough),appallingly (Carlisle )folk are going react not in a very good way ,like i say some folks only happiness and hobby may be Vale .

So each time our team takes to the field we have big hopes so when other fans say to those invested in Vale too much it doesn't matter if we lose to Barnsley well it does look what's happened since it does matter it matters a lot

Until each player realises this we will continue to be treated to dire non go for it performances

You put that shirt on you give us everything ,like every time we step into our place of work we expected do the same and we do.

Tomorrow is the beginning of a 23 game unbeaten run

Make sure thsts the case

No one plays 4-4-2 anymore because you get overwhelmed in midfield. Stoke have just done it for two months and ended up three points outside the relegation zone.

We're better as a 4-2-3-1

Amos

Clark, Smith, Hall, John

Croasdale, Chislett

Richards, Tolaj, Curtis

Stockley

Is how I would go tomorrow.

Why focus on them games instead of Newport or notts county?

I think tomorrow we will win and it will spark us back into action. We have looked dire recently and things are due to change. We are lucky to be where we are but the season is 46 games long and it’s not over yet.

If that’s what you think.

I can assure you Stoke have never played 4-4-2 so not sure where that tripe as come from.

Maybe if we did they'd start to play as it should be and fecking score, defenders defending,  wingers running with the ball and putting into the strikers, and midfield dominating and holding the ball for those who go forward to put it into that bloody great net. SIMPLE game as it was once played FFS.

Love the debates on here certainly gets people's juices flowing.

Can't agree at all that the football was crap pre this bad run.

The 5 match winning streak included 2 decent homes and 3 excellent what you'd call promotion winning away performances all 1-0. Copybook away masterclass which teams at the top do. None of the 3 were flukes. County and MK rarely hurt us, we were composed throughout really.

Prior to that Chesterfield was a good performance, Swindon was ok albeit against an on the day dreadful opposition. Newport obviously was decent.

So I don't buy into the football was crap. It's all gone downhill since the Garrity injury with nothing created and monotonous boring nothing football.

But for me it was ok, we had the odd mare like Accrington and Colchester but still kept on track.

Sounds like we're a one man team but getting some legs in midfield Garrity is pivotal to our hopes.

Sadly confidence has drained and we look a very poor side.

I'm not for a minute saying we'll win 5 in a row that looks a million miles away, but who knows that one win might restore belief and confidence.

We can hope. Otherwise we're heading for mid table oblivion.

Yes I completely agree!

I’ll take any formation aslong as thee attack a try to score a sodding goal over the crap this clown plays.

come on vale!

I'm using them as examples as by in large they were unacceptable displays .

Newport away was superb Tolaj is the glue who brings the Vale the magic BBB marvellous that day ,but we are on a horrendous run and Sunday was nothing short of pantomime season especially for all the goals conceded.

Vale just don't score them kind of goals starting tomorrow be lovely if there goalie plays the same as ours on Sunday

Winning football matches is hard enough with ghost goals ,wonder hits and offsides going the way of other sides without goalie lying down goal 1 goal 2 not organising his defence and goal 3 he may aswell have booted it in his own net .

To a better tomorrow for Vale and a new mentality at home for 2025, a mentality what says we do not lose at home all  year and not lose any games at home badly for sure

For CS I hope that's the case.
