This squad is not top 3. With a fully fit squad we can compete, but that will never ever happen.

I wrote a long, detailed post sort of defending the set-up of Flitcroft and Crosby around this time last year. I accepted there were quite major problems but enough was being done to keep me on board. A quite disastrous 3-0 defeat away sealed what I had always known in the back of my mind, Crosby was sacked, Flitcroft followed, and here we are.

I wrote a long, detailed post sort of defending the set up of Moore the other day. I accepted there were quite major problems but enough was being done to keep me on board. It may be that this disastrous 3-0 defeat away seals what I've known since I lost my head post-Doncaster.

Moore doesn't seem to have any grasp of what to do, and is making things worse. Carol has a very tricky decision, with three options:

A) Keep Moore and throw another few hundred thousand at him, despite fairly strong doubts existing as to whether he can spend it sensibly and whether he's even good enough at this time to take us up

B) Keep Moore as she theoretically likes to stick by managers but don't give him much money in January. He's quite possibly wasted the biggest single-summer investment in the playing squad this century, and can he be trusted with another 500k? He should make do with what he has.

C) Sack Moore, incurring a massive payoff, and then effectively write the season off as we scramble for another manager coming in to a very large squad with players who signed for Darren Moore.

Not good! I'm glad I'm far more switched off from PVFC these days emotionally, and truly sympathise with those who let this club affect them after 5pm on a matchday. 

I know we are crap but to turn on the owners at this point is utterly beyond.

If they closed the place up and walked away, I wouldn't blame them

There is a denominator… Connor Ripley. That’s 3 goals that have looped over him in 2 games and 1 goal he has given the opposition by doing his usual Fanny tactics. If he starts next game it’s a sham

Like, how many thousands a week in wages (before you even consider transfer fees) are tied up in Byers, Curtis, Tolaj, and Paton's wages? It will probably be well over 10k before bonuses. Carol must be absolutely fuming.

I’ve changed my opinion. Moore should go. IMO he’s lost the players. By trying to keep everyone happy he’s keeping nobody happy. They look disinterested in what they are being asked to do. Players are all out of position to fit into a system we just don’t have the personnel to play. 4-1-3-2 seems so obvious to me and I think fits our players. Pick your strongest 11 and go from there. Those not on that 11 either need to get better or ship out. There will always be mistakes, it’s div 4 footy but with the players we have on paper other teams should be a lot more worried about us than they are.

Carol is too loyal and will also see it as far too knee jerk. Moore will hide behind the fact he doesn't have Garrity and Byers available.

Most fans are not turning on Carol, but supporting her.  They are turning on Moore and CO mostly.  

I don't think Carol will do anything and give him time as she has put her faith in him and backed him.  Feel that her dream and fans dreams are being taken away by DM and CO changing the side each game.  We are now playing the game of how many changes this week will he make.  The players are looking like they are giving up on him due to these changes.

Moore is safety first. He has signed 2 players who scored 20 goals last season,Chizzy is probably our best attacker but looks the worst,yet Moore plays 5 at the back. Take Garrity out of the team and there is no fight. Awful result
