Concerned a bit yeah but we'll be rayt. Enough evidence we're good.

That evidence is really starting to dilute though. And it certainly won’t be found in the goals for column, we must be one of the lowest scorers in the league.

dont hit the panic button lads (and lasses) the weather had a massive part to play today. we will beat them away with a fit side. the war is not over. onto bromley.

You've no idea. We were nowhere near our best today. We've been putting 3 and 4 past teams, and creating chances for fun. The conditions ruined the game.

You are really bugging yourself up. I didn't see anything in you today that any team should fear. You scored one goal and were lucky with that. Other than that you barely troubled us.

We were bang average today. There's the rest of the season to go mucker - and when your top scorer goes back to Stjoke in the New Year you'll have problems.

Did you say a while back Darren Moore doesn’t know what he’s doing? (Barrow/ Doncaster) What’s changed your mind now, Joe? These last 4/5 games have been a dreadful watch for a top side. Not a chance we stay up there if this continues in his rotation style every single game.

Only 6 teams have scored more than us.
This league is garbage and we are sinking to most of the other clubs levels just lately instead of not worrying about them and just going out and destroying them with the obvious quality we have in our squad.

I supported them mate like 7 other thousand fans in that weather.
I don’t mind bad games, but that’s what 5/6 in a row / in recent months. Can’t just say don’t worry lads you beat Newport away earlier in the season so don’t worry about trying today. You always mention this division is one of close margins, we cannot afford to keep turning up and not putting effort it.

Edit. It’s quite clear they didn’t battle or fight at all today. If you think otherwise I’d get your eyes tested.

Was closer to 6k than 7

Thought Cover was as good as anyone we had today, then he was brought off and I thought Croasdale had a good game, MOM for me and once again, he was brought off.

Funny how we all see the game mate. I thought Cover struggled again today, maybe he set the bar high with his first couple of months on loan when he was very good

We definitely aren’t one of the lowest scorers in the league but the goals have dried up of late there’s no denying that. We can all agree we aren’t playing great recently but let’s remain positive we are still 2nd in the league and in a few weeks time we will be past the halfway stage. UTV

Very harsh to insinuate or accuse players of lacking effort today. They did apply themselves but yet again we had too many passengers in the team combined with poor tactics.

What is a little concerning is the number of players who have stopped showing for the ball and as a team we aren’t trusting ourselves with the quick pass, we take an extra touch and choose the safe option to avoid a mistake.

I don’t think our tactics is helping the home atmosphere. We have essentially played like an away team since we lost Byers and Garrity from the midfield.

I'm not privy to figures like some on here .

Potentially spent 350 grand upwards on Tolaj and Paton, both goal machines. Stockley obviously on mega bucks.

But Michael Cheek has more goals than the 3 combined.

Obviously Tolaj was jettisoned again, Paton is a worker, but zero goal threat, Stockley ditto, despite having a high pedigree.

It's an odd one, we're still 2nd , but this is deeply concerning to me.

Walsall were actually crap yet potentially have a lovely cushion now.

To be fair Darren we had a lovely cushion 2 weeks ago.

Things can change very quickly.

That's the spirit

I'm Vale when they win and when they lose and draw .

Lots of football be played yet .

I believe Vale can play it and do well today and V Crewe very underwhelming however we played Harper in both these games ,his first minutes with Vale and we have had the heart of the team out John Garrity and Byers

Very significant that Byers and John are now back I reserve judgement till we have all our best players back and at full throttle.

Surprised we’ve scored that many tbf, although we had 4 at Newport & 3 vs Dons I suppose which helped. But your 2nd point is exactly why I’m frustrated. We had 9 days to prep for Cheltenham. The best we came up with was to contain them, go a goal down, then finally attack in the last 15 mins. I repeat, that’s Tom Pett’s Cheltenham. Pretty poor really in my opinion. Then to set up 5-5-0 today is, quite frankly, unforgivable. Hand the initiative to them, unsurprisingly we can’t / don’t deal with a corner (and it wasn’t as if there weren’t enough warning signs in the first half) and we then make a raft of subs which left us a disorganised mess. I cannot recall a single chance created - the Rico chance was offside apparently and the clearance off the line just the result of scrambles a ricocheting. Top of the league and not creating a chance in two successive home games. Ummm. That’s not a promotion team in my eyes. And we saw from last year that if you do start playing poorly then sooner or later the results will follow.

3 against Wimbledon as well pal. We’ve got goals in this side but you wouldn’t think it going off the last months results & performances. I’m sure we’ll get back to scoring a few soon though something has to change that’s for sure

Is it? I thought some clearly didn't fancy it.

Beyond me how Hackford beat BBB to the bench again.

Debrah-Ripley-Debrah-Ripley-hoof ball is <ovf censored> excruciating to watch. No surprise the goal indirectly came from that dithering about in the channels.

50mph tailwinds and we're squaring it at the back, and on the extremely rare occasion we did get forward we were mostly looking to push it out wide for an ineffectual cross rather than take a shot on and see what the wind did with it. Incredible stuff.
