I’ve just checked the table.  It’s actually true.👍🏻

Yes, as we're second in the table and the league has gone on for 19 games, not 6.

If we're going to draw arbitrary lines in the season to suit narrative, I want to focus solely on the run of 9 wins in 12 and make this current run out to be the anomaly.

I don't think it's about effort. It's tactics. We aren't playing in a way that suits the players we have at our disposal and we seem incapable of sticking with side without changing over 50% of the team each week.

No idea but they were bowling up the Hamil. To be fair 14 to 25 age range with women ( creatures ) in tow.

Normally you'd of anticipated a reaction, but given the weather and amount of zits on their faces it wasn't worth the mither.

That's on the coppers then # waste of money

Sorry to go off track, but what scum those Walsall fans are...... Calling a young lad (ballboy) a fat bastard is absolutely disgraceful. The young lad has subsequently  left..... absolute scum.....

Really sorry to hear he’s left but have to say had we been at their place in the same circumstances we’d have sung the same.  That’s not to say it’s right, but it’s certainly not unusual.

So you're not concerned with the tactics and team selection in the last few games then # The manager has become to cautious, it's not rocket science #  He needs to get a grip

Please don't say we...... you maybe..... scum.

Very disappointing result and performance, 1 point from 6 at home against two teams up there with us was not in my script. However,  I would have snapped your hand off to be in this position at the start of the season so can't really complain. I would like us to set up much more positively, especially at home. Come on Darren, let the boys off the leash.

Can’t disagree with that. How he got motm I’ll never know! 😂 Hart I thought had a good first half but was sloppy like most in the second

Thought Cover was as good as anyone we had today, then he was brought off and I thought Croasdale had a good game, MOM for me and once again, he was brought off.

We’ve scored 5 goals in 7 games with probably the best attacking players in the division. We’ve been since Harrogate. We should be much better than a battling side. I’m sorry I completely disagree with you. They let us down and they don’t deserve to be cheered on when putting on next to no effort
At the start of the season I too thought we had a lot of threat up front. However I feel we may well have over rated the abilities of Tojal and Paton. When they play I just don't see players with either the ability to create goal threats themselves or get into the right positions to knock one in. I don't feel they are league 2 standard players yet.
We are difficult to score against. Yes we have 2 key midfield players out but we have other good midfield players in the squad. Such as Croasdale and Curtis. It is up front that we look pretty toothless.

Last comment on game .

Port Vale were poor today yet have lost to a bizarre goal a very poor goal a goalkeeping error .

Walsall have beat us but not as good a side as Crewe who we drew with .

Port Vale have being top so long maybe been top is too much for the players .

Our performances at home  are not good enough but with Byers and Garrity back and a 4 at back in all home games till season end that should be our last home defeat of season

Don't agree the players were not trying .

When you give opposition a goal you give them a lift  well it makes it even harder ,if RICO RICHARDS, puts the ball in the net different game he should score and stockley shouldn't have given that lad chance clear off line

We haven't worked that goalkeeper at all thats criminal for a top of the league team .

I can take defeat though

Weather condition and Walsall 1 Vale 0

Just a bogey team however the fans need to get behind the team, however players need to commit how many of our players drove at them

None there's the problem

Commit in future

I would rather have Paton & Tolaj

On the pitch instead of Hackford and Richards who are over rated in my opinion

Never wanted that game to be played in those conditions and the conditions ruined the game for both sides, thought 2nd half with the wind with us we would go on and win the game, no efforts in the first half and only one in the 2nd is not top 3.
