It’s not just Vale though, a lot of lower league clubs are silent unless there team is on the front foot or winning. Yes there’s an argument we could be more vocal to rally the lads on but at the same time if they were getting us off our seats they’d hear us in full voice. A bit of both is needed for me. Not suprised at home either, very rarely are we loud at Vale Park not like it used to be years ago. As for our away support we tend to be more than consistent whether we’re winning, drawing or losing.

Probably fair. Was just very surprised today. Sometimes the players will need lifting.

No chance while we have this manager.

Moore is so afraid of losing - Bromley will be a tough game , and I’d take a draw right now.

I was thinking what a great post this is and then I read the line that absolutely p’s me off and I’m sick of seeing on this forum. “I’d take a draw right now”, why? We have the best squad in league 2 by a mile and I know we wont win every game but I want fans, players and manager to be absolutely fuming every time we don’t win. If you settle for mediocrity you end up selecting a team to prevent the opponent scoring rather than a team to destroy the opposition. You settle for a team without a recognised striker and you settle for a playoff place at best. Carol has blessed us with a squad that should walk this league, she deserves better than settling for a point against Bromley, Cheltenham, Crewe……….. Fans should be demanding we go out and play to our strengths every game, do so and we will be champions. I say to Darren Moore, prove to us Huddersfield, Doncaster fans were wrong about you or take your negative football elsewhere. You have no excuse for failure.

Agreed. It was terribly flat at times today. But with one shot on target I can see it from both sides

With the squad we have I will never celebrate a point in league 2. It will happen as will defeats but they really should be the exception to the rule.

Fair enough, but that line had more to do with Bromley winning 4 and drawing 3 of their last 7, and Vale’s decline in form. I’d give anything for us to go there and hammer them , or even win 1-0 .

Sometimes just sometimes the fans need lifting the last few games have hardly been edge of the seats stuff give us something to shout about, watched the 2nd half of the Crewe game through me fingers, just waiting for the inevitable.

I’m not saying we should set up for a draw away from home but I’ll never be disappointed to pick up points on the road. They all add up but I get what your saying 👍🏻 Let’s hope we improve & quickly mate

I’m signing off for the evening with a song suggested by Dave in Doncaster:

”Your football is sh!te…. your football is sh!te…. Darren Moore, your football is sh!te”

Goodnight, god bless.

I'm beginning to think we set up for a draw at home never mind away.

They've lifted us more than enough by being top for the longest amount of time since the 1950s. The concept that 6 games is too much for us to handle over a 46 game season, after coming off a 12-13 game miracle run, doesn't sit with me.

Maybe it's our turn to do some lifting?

Please don't say we...... you maybe..... scum.

Sorry but it’s a fact.  I’ve heard Vale fans, and fans of numerous other clubs, sing similar chants to various opposition players, staff members etc etc over the years, it’s not unusual and certainly not unique to Walsall fans.

You might be right I've only seen 2 home wins in 12 months .

10 thousand v Crewe 9 thousand v Walsall .

Do we suffer from stage fright .

That game today would have been perfect for Tolaj and he isn't even on the bench .

I'd have picked the same team who finished game strongly v Cheltenham ok 3 wingers on pitch but crikey least there's intent and we at least we were connecting in areas what are dangerous.

Paton never gets a look in ,yet he links well with Curtis, Henegans a leader did we need Debrah today I think not ,although defensively he did well as a leader as a player who leads and carries the ball up the pitch with intent and gets his head on VALE corners he falls well short of Henegans excellence

Too many changes but a brave Vale who finished game at Cheltenham, is the way forwards if it means sacrificing defensive structure so be it

I'd rather see BBB on than Cover why because he goes past players I'd rather Richards play off Tolaj and Paton in the hole

The whole set up needs changing especially at home where folk have had many seasons of abject failure and on reflection too many performances like today's mundaneness .

Last season we suffered relegation, in large part because Flitcroft didn’t manage to sign any strikers.

Today Moore decided to line up, in a game between 1st v 2nd, with no strikers and to leave 3 on the bench. Mind boggling.
