I’d love to see us ditch 3 CB’s go to and go to back 4.

Yes and ditch Moore whilst we’re at it.

Have played in worse conditions down Trubshaw Cross, ladsanddads in the mid-eighties! Short sleeves tops, no under armour!

Get it on! It's only a bit of wind and rain🤣

Unfortunately, ladsanddads style football was served up by both sides (mainly due to weather conditions) - farcical game.

It wasn’t over the line.

Very average performance; this manager doesn’t understand attacking

Need to try and keep a consistent first 11 for a bit. Steady the ship.

1 win in 5 without Garrity

Oh my god that is a poor GK error from Ripley.

You surely can't think you were good? Both teams did nothing.

Nope. But we didn't need to be. Nice easy game.

Is it didn't see there goal looked naff .

It gave them a lift as next 10 mins played well them then Vale made changes and Stockley should equalise simple as that.

I'll make a prediction Vale will finish season above them

Our inability to pass is a concern. Ripley, Hall and Deborah the main offenders. I think it's time to give Amos a run in the team. We have to sign another forward in the January window.

The best team won. We had no control over that game. They looked after the ball far better and their team looked like they knew what they were doing. We looked clueless. The amount of times we played ourselves into trouble at the back yet we kept on doing it.
Fair play to DM he has put together an excellent squad but I'm not sure it has been put together with a plan in mind, or he just keeps changing his mind every week. 7 changes was bonkers. DM said there was nothing in the game, personally I thought they looked a far better side. He thought we played well in the first half yet they still had 4 shots to our 1.
DM needs to focus more on a team selection that suits us and not one to stifle the opposition.
Someone must have been having a laugh with that MOTM as Jessie was poor today, as was everyone else!

I don't think there are many lessons to learn from that game given the weather conditions but having said that, it was yet another depressing performance overall. We just don't seem able to put together a convincing attacking side and so are totally reliant on not conceeding, or lucky chances.

Sadly, we've just proven the limitations to that approach yet again...

He certainly needs to look at himself.

DM keeps talking about a fortress, well he’s got to start attacking teams so they fear coming to VP.

Below average home record in the league.

I'd settle for average at the minute, we have been awful since the first 15 minutes of the Wimbledon game.  Soon as I saw the team I feared the worst, to have 4 strikers on the books and not play any of them was a joke.  We set up to keep it tight every game in the hope of getting a nil nil or a one nil win.  If we go up great but we are not a good side to watch under Moore, played well against Newport, Chesterfield and Swindon, all the other games we won we had to grind out.  We are not positive at all and Walsall while being well organised are not a good side, we handed this to them by sending that team out, today is all on Moore.

What’s the point in signing a forward ?
we don’t play them

One lesson can be learnt, please dont play another game without a recognised striker.
