Harratt was a good fox in the box striker, similar a bit to Paton is style maybe and will always be in folklore for that goal in the final, always seemed to play second fiddle to Edmundson who then missed out on the final but he knew where the box was and is a couple of years older.

If in January the opportunity was there I wouldn't be against it he was a decent enough player and a good option to have but not sure I would swap the main 3 strikers we have for him, would compliment them well though and imagine he'd be fun up top with Stockley feeding off him.

Huge misses. Byers is one of the best players in the division and John has been excellent. I wonder if we may see Connor Grant in the coming weeks

However I am with others in that would prefer him to be further down the pecking order and prioritise game time to our own players we have spent money on e.g Paton

John & Byers big misses, but they'll be back soon enough.

We have a squad good enough now to replace them which sounds bizarre for us.

Without Kyle John, Saturdays game has gone from a very difficult match to what might end up being one of the hardest games of our season. Without him or Hart available we have no fit left backs for a few games against some really good sides. Massive tactical adjustments are needed and I'm really anxious about us losing the positive momentum we've been picking up over the last half dozen matches. Fingers crossed we pull through but it's not looking great.

Think they need to sign kyle john on a longer deal if this injury is a flash in the pan, dont need another gibbo

Hall can drop in at left back it's not as though he hasn't played there before... problem solved.... always look on the bright side 😄 👍 UTV...VTID.

I see Brandon Williams is still without a club if we need to sign a left back.

Hopefully it is weeks rather than months and we see them back available well before the end of November.  Will certainly test the depth of the squad between now and then.  If there are any positives then they’re we’ve got full weeks between the games against the form/better teams (MK and Fleetwood) to work on shape and having different personnel playing (as we had for the County game).  When are Sam and Mitch due back - the New Year?
