The only players I want to keep will go, and I don't blame them. Garrity and Chislett both deserve a decent move to a mid table league one team.

Aside from all that the only thing that gives me hope for next season is our youth team. Seems like we are beginning to get that pipeline of players and most I've seen have been decent. Also the plant, Shorrock, Lomax crop etc will all be a year older and hopefully a bit more physical.

Over confidence and arrogance running through the club hierarchy from top to bottom.  Well this is where it has got you.  Learn and Learn quickly.

I felt we played fairly well after a shakey first five when we did the Lincoln start on repeat but got away with it, so did our usual pathetic back post defending from a deep cross.

After that we dominated and a half decent attack would have put them to the sword with 3 or 4 goals but poor touches, poor finishing and to be fair good goalkeeping kept us out.

Frustrating to lose as a point with other results would have kept us in with a chance likely into the final day, only Vale could lose to a side that were timewasting for a 1-1 draw most of the second half and showing little attacking intent... but guess thats why we are where we are.

Half decent performance in the main but same Achilles heels cost us.

If you have two midfielders in double figures then it should be the icing on the cake of at the very least a half decent season.

Both scored double figures in a relegation team. They can both hold their heads up high & more than capable at this level. Dipepa a shining bright this season too.

By the standards of league 1 strikers he is not on a lot. Certainly not a top earner by divisional standards. He was unemployed without a club, so was hardly a man in demand.
