Mighton and Gore are currently training away from the first team squad in the land of Zog.

Mighton did pick up a foot injury and will probably play for us again this season I suspect.  Gore didn't limp off against Portsmouth so no idea what's really happened there.

The report on the PV website paints a picture of Wigan having and missing a lot of chances. PV hung on for a draw etc.

But the stats say it was 13 shots each and PV were on target 4 times v Wigan's 2. Both teams had barn door issues, but PV slightly less?

I thought it was your classic nil nil, both teams cancelling each other out - AKA both were crap - did Wigan outplay us and could you see their players were better than ours - for me, No, not particularly.

Care to define the two?

Yep DM is a manager who can actually manage his players and get a tune out of them ,Crosby was just winging it the guy had only one way of playing and when that didn't work he just hoped for the best and him and Fraudcroft are to blame with us being stuck with a majority of players who would struggle in league two , hows that 😬

Not sure. We’ve seen numerous times that when relegation is sealed then the pressure lifts and teams start putting some results together. But DC will know the importance of this game to them, and I wouldn’t surprised if they edged it 1-0. That’s why I was slightly disappointed we couldn’t nick the win yesterday.

Exactly Carlisle has been sealed they can plan with some sort of freedom now unlike Cheltenham the pressure is all on them Tuesday. I think we were all slightly disappointed not to win yesterday because Wigan didn’t offer much at all but on the whole it’s a valuable point that could be crucial end of season. There’s so many games we can look at if we do go down but for me throwing the 2 goal lead away at home to fleetwood could turn out to be a biggie

I don’t blame Crosby at all. It’s on Flitcroft he hired him & was in charge of the poor recruitment

The goal swing from yesterday alone is a huge bonus. 4 closer to Burton in one afternoon and now only odd goal in it, whereas at times it has looked like an automatic extra point we need to make up somewhere.

I'll take that. Did well defensively away from home and that's hugely important to get a clean sheet. Out of the relegation zone and the confidence will help going into the Pboro game on Wednesday.

We all get confused by the defensive changes in games and think we know better but 4 clean sheets in 5 says he knows what he is doing,if only we had that all important goal scorer(poacher),we would be nowhere near it now imo

With a decent 12 goals a season striker we may well have won the last two games. Cheers for that DF.

they cost money. we either

a) are skint

b) unwilling to spend.

either normally ends up with a team in the lower reaches.  i dont believe for one second " other targets" chose other clubs because of anything other than finances.

How much do you think Moore and his staff are costing?  Doesn’t suggest lack of funds.

im not suggesting that at all. im suggesting at the time they wanted to do it as cheaply as possible and just about stay in the division. the recruitment of moore was a massive meltdown on behalf of the club as we are in dire straits and its probably costing us more now that it wouldve just to sign a run of the mill 12 goal striker.

I think another 7pts may be enough given the current form of the teams below us particularly if Carlisle can put in one of their decent away league performances like when they beat Bolton and Peterborough.
