Wigan away tickets not available for collection tomorrow

Recommended Posts

The tickets have now arrived as I've just been up to buy one. There's only a handful left in block ns2 and I think there going be putting the ns3 block on sale later. There's 2 people basically going through all the Wigan tickets and sorting them out and whilst I was there somebody rang up and was told the tickets will be available to collect from tomorrow.

Olly, it’s not good enough. We can point the finger at Wigan but why aren’t PVFC chasing it up. As ppl on here have stated that they’ve been to the club to get tickets and they haven’t been successful. Why have the club not put out any information, to save ppl wasting their time. All this reflects poorly on our owners and ppl will adopt the attitude that they can’t be bothered either which will reflect in next seasons gates. Can’t believe I’m going to mention that Leek Town are already promoted, not too far away, with non league attendances on the up. It’ll only take a few to think I’ll take a look at what’s happening there, when PVFC are away and who knows, they might like what they see and reduce their visits to VP or cut them out altogether.

So you’re saying that fans will change the club they support over a ticket or 2
Dont u live abroad or am I wrong?

I’m not saying anything other than going to football is a way of life but it also has to be entertaining. Some ppl may well look elsewhere, I know two ppl who had ST’s for MUFC for a number of years, who both now go to Leek. Also a Shrewsbury fan who goes to watch Newcastle Town. In business there is an acronym S.W.O.T and I believe it’s a possible threat to PVFC attendances which is what the ‘T’ stands for and one that cannot be ignored.

So your mates have dumped Man Utd now there <ovf censored> and jumped on leek towns success 😳

You were on about Wigan not sending our tickets early enough and questioning that’s it’s vales fault not wether it’s entertaining or not

I ordered 2 Wigan tickets online and will somehow have get down there before Saturday to collect them unless I sit on here all week questioning why vale park staff ain’t dropped them off at my house for me

Firstly I wouldn’t consider someone who was going to MUFC in the 80’s or following Leek for over five years as ‘Glory Hunters’

in relation to the Wigan tickets it was a reply to fans having attended VP and being told that they hadn’t got the tickets. I was asking why PVFC hadn’t put out a message at that time. If you think PVFC play entertaining football the read OVF comments and understand them before commenting. Your last sentence just about sums you up.

Vale have put messages out throughout this , explaining that they had not got the tickets and have been waiting on Wigan to forward them. Also said that as soon as they were available they would make it known , this is exactly what they have done . If people choose to ignore this and randomly turn up to collect something that they’ve been informed is not there how is this Vale’s fault ?
Of course there always has to be some people it doesn’t suit but hey why let facts get in the way when they’re constantly looking for something to whinge about 🙄

Unfortunately this wasn’t very helpful for me as I’m not on Twitter

You don’t have to be “on” Twitter. You just have to read it. I never post on there but it is where I look for Vale news.

Seems social media is the way of the world now, though I still think it would have been helpful to update the actual website at the same time as the twitter post.

Vale did actually send a carrier pigeon to my house with any updates.
