Wigan away tickets not available for collection tomorrow

Official site is reporting that Wigan tickets won't be available tomorrow due to a glitch.

Has anyone heard if the tickets are available yet, I was hoping to get mine before the match 😄

A friend went up to Vale today but said they still hadn't arrived.

There's supposed to be no Pay On The Day, but the club are asking Wigan if this can be relaxed, given the massive Horlicks they've managed to make of ticketing.

Can you actually buy Wigan tickets at vale or are they unavailable, sold out or you can buy them but not able collect them?

You could buy them online via the Vale ticket site but the physical tickets haven't arrived for collection from the club shop yet.

I actually wanted to physically go to vale and buy a ticket in person then I know I've got the ticket and don't have to mess around either collecting the ticket later in the week or on the day. I might not bother going now and I'm sure there is plenty of others thinking the same.

Northern and TransPennine on strike Saturday so check your trains.

Daft thing is in 51 hours you cannot pick up your bought tickets from the Vale shop as they are then sent back to Wigan to be collected from them on matchday !

My question too - they are not available online but there's no hint that its sold out?

Yeah I was intending on travelling from Manchester as well.

We'll have to hold our horses until Bolton in a couple of weeks.

Olly, it’s not good enough. We can point the finger at Wigan but why aren’t PVFC chasing it up. As ppl on here have stated that they’ve been to the club to get tickets and they haven’t been successful. Why have the club not put out any information, to save ppl wasting their time. All this reflects poorly on our owners and ppl will adopt the attitude that they can’t be bothered either which will reflect in next seasons gates. Can’t believe I’m going to mention that Leek Town are already promoted, not too far away, with non league attendances on the up. It’ll only take a few to think I’ll take a look at what’s happening there, when PVFC are away and who knows, they might like what they see and reduce their visits to VP or cut them out altogether.

As usual I fell foul of the vague pathway that enables purchase of tickets online which requires you to click on the picture to access the seating plan - I have just bought two and there are about 50 left. The shop have also advised that Wigan are supposed to be sending tickets for another block.
