The fact the meeting was needed was because the Fans are so ******* fed up.

Yesterday just made things worse.

She needs to have a Public Forum with Genuine Fans not some happy clappers from North London etc.

The 8 fans who attended the meeting in person had nearly 500 years of Vale support between them.  Is that genuine enough for you?

Jean, no doubting you and everyone else who attended that meeting are all massive genuine supporters but surely you must agree that there has to be a public forum open to everyone and for this to be arranged before the end of the month.

I would be delighted if this happened but I think the meeting last Monday demonstrated clearly to the club that it was necessary.  If we get a forum, that meeting will have been largely responsible in my opinion.

I understand what you are saying, but a public forum would no doubt descend into chaos, I don't think I know any of the people involved or what was discussed the other night other than what was reported, but I know that the questions asked would have been passionate, pointed, direct and to the point and would have left Carol under no illusion of the majority of fans feelings

A public forum would probably have descended into a shouting match, so I'm grateful there are fans who took the time to prepare and ask some awkward and difficult questions.

Could not agree more what was that all about ?

I was looking forward to belting out the Wonder of You and another moan if they want to build the atmosphere read out the away team quickly and then do the Vale team.

This handshaking baloney before the game needs sacking off, that kills the atmosphere saying that the Vale do a great job of buggering the atmosphere up without any help from anyone.

Our Captain has absolutely made sure to kill any atmosphere at the beginning of our last two home games all by himself

Tin hat on here, but imo he shouldn't have been anywhere near the 1st Team squad this season,  whether we have other defenders or not. His legs have gone, he cannot play out of defence, he offers nothing other than square/side to side passing. Refs have seen through his play over the seasons, so have us fans. He frankly is a liability even in a very poor team.

I have supported them for over 60 years myself.

There was nobody from the Football Side of the Club, Carol,Patrick and Matt Hancock.

The Problem is on the Pitch, Flitcroft should have been there and more of a cross section of the Fan Base ie, Some of the Younger Generation like the lads off the Ale and Vale Podcast.

Reading between the lines, the fans told Carol they want Flitcroft held accountable for the last 14 months of failure on the pitch, and she said no. It's hard to feel all that enthused about the meeting if the end result is the root cause of our ongoing malaise remains in post.

It's also not like the fans haven't been getting behind the players already. There's only so much encouragement that can be given when we're playing as we are, with three league wins in nearly six months.

Amazingly DF stated that his door is always open and admitted that he had been in the shadows (hiding) That’s wonderful, fantastic. Then we have an arranged meeting between the club and the supporters club. But DF is absent from this very meeting and no reason given. Then both he and the club expect fans to have faith and trust in him? He is mugging the club off.He sacks anyone that fails to reach set targets. But every transfer window DF has been involved in the squad has ended up weaker.

Get him out of the club NOW!!!. He has proven beyond doubt that he is NOT up to the job.

My better half is in his 74th season. The club chose who came from their side - the fans had no control over that. Not all of those there were old fogeys.

Legs have gone? He's 27! There's some nonsense said on this forum at times but really now.

I had my say on this thread a while back, and stick by everything I said. Anyone can talk the talk, it's walking the walk that is the acid test.

Let us wait but not hold our breath pending the club making good on the promises.

We have been here before.

Jean, I’m sorry but I’m not following your point with that argument. The President of the USA leaders of the free world a self proclaimed title. He is over 80 years are you happy with him.? Just saying. I’ve been attending for over 50 years but I don’t put anywhere near the money into the club as others. Also that seems exclusionary to younger fans who are the fans of the future.
