And a further 2 points pending if he doesn't pay his fine which according to the Reading forum he wont be doing !

Without any deductions Reading would be on 42 points so the 38 point total is after 4 points deducted.

Is that one of Nostradamus' predictions?!

Rhys Walter’s & Jack Shorrock playing for U18’s today so won’t be in our matchday squad.

Suprised in walters not involved tonight

Looks like DM not interested in playing the port vale kids

But before the 2-point deduction surely?

Just looked it up. They were deducted a point in August and 3 in September, so 38 must be the unadjusted figure. So now they're on 36 after today's 2 point deduction announcement, and shortly will be on 34 if the fine isn't paid, + any points they pick up from games in the meantime.

He's probably staying in with Leon Constantine and going through his contract options.

I don’t think our kids are any where near the level some have spoke about previously. Dipepa is miles off and needs to be loaned to side like Leek. Same with Lomax. Shorrock however should at least be in the squad given our options at LB. Unless plant and Clarke are now ready to be involved again

Reading on 36 as it stands.

Oh the dizzy heights we can dream of 😬

I am going to the game tonight with blind optimism we will end our Tuesday night hoodoo. I liked Ben Garrity's radio Stoke interview as he seemed genuinely angry which is what we need. Scrappy one vs nil!

Get them back Saturday against Carlisle. The bottom team who everyone is beating.

Apart from us

One ray of sunshine that I take away from last Saturday is that, taking away Smudgers' suicidal pass on 2 mins, and Jonesy's pen - the back line played better then they've done recently.  If Moore can keep them improving at the back (and we can cut out the stupidity!) then, tonight, we might just keep a clean sheet.

After that we then need to get better at the top of the pitch.  Id therefore have Ojo/Garrety/Chiss supporting Loft - we need to get good service into him in the danger zone and to feet.

If we can do that and players also follow up into the box - have some confidence and take a shot or ten, then we should win this tonight.

The Vale need to stay up whilst our illustrious neighbours are going down.

Two local derbies next season.

Tbh, I’m going tonight but they’ll have to lift my spirits, it isn’t in me to do the 12th man routine.
