Even with the points deduction, Reading will still finish the season on more points than us

The Vale need to stay up whilst our illustrious neighbours are going down.

Two local derbies next season.

3 local derbies with Crewe coming up

Time and a place for that now i think and he probably sees that a relegation battle isn't the time

Maybe suggests more back from injury so wont need to dig into the pool of youth players?

Dipepa obviously in the squad, frustrating as he isn't going to develop playing 15-20 minutes for the first team, should be getting game time in the youth's or sent on loan to Non League, we risk setting back a player with big future potential.

Not left with much choice tho after the disastrous transfer windows & lack of striker situation unfortunately but to put him in the 18 in case Willo or loft break down. Plants obviously in contention now after making the bench last game. Have a sneaky feeling Mitch might start tonight at left back

Rhys Walter’s & Jack Shorrock playing for U18’s today so won’t be in our matchday squad.

Would prefer both of them to Lowe and Jones tbh.

Get them back Saturday against Carlisle. The bottom team who everyone is beating.

Not everyone 😢

You can see why. Yes they aren’t pretty but they are organised. When you do the basics right & keep things simple you get results

Plus going a goal up after two minutes played right into their game plan.

The nervous excitement has kicked in 😬

Surely you can now use Garrity or even Massey ahead of Dipepa? Granted its not ideal but a) used to mens football and b) allows Dipepa to play and develop in the youth system or on loan?

The players don't need any telling. We need to win this game FULL STOP.

Yeah you’d think so or even Mighten he’s got pace, likes to beat a man & would be a big threat getting in behind. I do prefer garrity playing a little deeper & making those runs late into the box myself, plus he isn’t scared to get stuck in when it’s needed in the middle of the park. Prefer Massey right of a front three but even up front he would offer more than dipepa 👍🏻

I thought Dipepa showed more in his time v Lincoln. For example, he didn't look physically put of his depth. I am not saying he is ready to lead the line in a L1 relegation battle, but I think some good coaching has got into him.

Even with glimpses here & there it’s clear to see he’s absolutely miles off first team football at this level. It’s just hanging him out to dry & isn’t going to benefit him whatsoever
