The thing is, when it went to 2-1 we all knew what was coming. As someone said, it’s the most Port Vale thing ever. A team absolutely bereft of grit and desire to win. Somebody just end the season now please because it has been an absolute shocker and we’ve still got 13 games to ensure.

You know Carol could have bankrolled a decent striker and certainly would have had the final word on sacking the manager.
