Lovely gesture from Funso! Rang Crosby up after the game & said that goal was for him. You could see them pair had a really close relationship. I think nothing from the club is disgusting to be honest. He wasn’t quite ready but he had a good crack at it & what a genuine bloke who had this club in his heart. Wish him nothing but the best in whatever his next chapter brings

Didn’t get going for first 20 mins of second  half and it cost us. Showed some fight and passion today which was. An improvement  on the two previous games.

I thought we looked more gassed than them by half time. But key was Stevenage changes at half time added to that plus they targeted the wing backs and most noticeably left wing back. He was stuck out there alone trying to stop crosses but with too much room behind. Good battling back. Showed spirit. Also the subs did better than I expected.

You can see the benefits Stevenage have by way of an experienced manager!!!!

Well said, I can’t think which manager would have been happy with the cards that Crosby was dealt. Managing Vale must be like trying to complete a 1000 pice jigsaw with 8 pieces missing.

We were in a weird position with Crosby. He was obviously a great coach and wanted to be a manager (wasn’t he up for the Newport job?) so I some respects he was the natural choice. It’s the lack of tactical ability, rigidly sticking out to a very specialised 3-5-2 yet not having the players to fit the system nor the minerals/nous to change it when it’s clearly not working, that’s what gets me. But we all know who the main culprit is.

We are got a very contentious penalty late in the game at Stevenage in the FA Cup too

Swings and roundabouts....should have had one in the League at Stevenage, the one awarded against us v Pompey was terrible.

I'm struggling to see the positivity still.

We were dreadful.

An own goal, a dubious penalty and a raft of missed Stevenage chances.

We got away with one.

We're still massively in the brown stuff here.

Oh we’re still in the thick of the brown stuff mate but there was more fight today & a hard earned point. We didn’t roll over for the opposition like we have recently

They missed 2 sitters 2nd half

We missed 2 sitters Chislett header and Lowe 2nd half

The own goal the defender had no choice 2 vale players all over him especially the one behind waiting for a tap in

Much better work rate and a few tackles but we look a relegation team for me.

We can’t defend 1st and 2nd balls in the box which we’ve not been able to do all season and let’s be honest the only way we are going to score is a penalty or own goal.

Our game management was poor. Kaspar is injured we don’t ensure a replacement is in before Jones cones on, Chizzy sub was baffling ( unless injured), Wilo sub was strange.

Assuming they were subbed because of concern about "minutes", that current obsession.

Dubious penalty?  Are you related to Steve Evans??

More like a 1000 piece jigsaw with only 8 pieces present.

However, today's performance was light years ahead of the last few home games. There may yet be hope.

It is truly disgusting from the club again.  Smacks of the Colin garlick "retirement."

I've heard how Carol likes to treat certain people professionally and it ain't exactly nice aunty Carol.

Her DF have got a lot to do to get fans back board now.

Lot of damage done.

However, feels pretty cba on their to me.
